Local MP Discusses Farm Tax Overhaul and Horsch Avatar Review

We’re back on the farm with a jam-packed video! Local MP Ian Sollom visits to discuss vital changes to family farm tax laws and their impact on farmers. Meanwhile, we tackle fallen trees, take a close look at our Horsch Avatar-drilled crops (which are thriving!), and consider adding one to the fleet. Plus, the shed construction progresses, we upgrade farm security, and face challenges with a broken Fendt 942.

  1. Great video James as always just something you could watch on YouTube is a channel called the Lock Picking Lawyer and it will not give you any faith in padlocks if a thief wants to get through one you just have to make it as hard as possible and looking forward to your next video 👍👍

  2. Quite staggering that agrigac do a 54m sprayer and farmers with large amounts of land locally haven’t been told about it. Wonder if their salesman is old Bart Simpson, formerly of Weatherhead’s. He hated visiting clients too. Lol

  3. Lib Dems support farming? Your having s laugh, all they want to do is to sell us farmers down the river back to the EU.And as a farmer i feel so totatly betrayed as someone pretending to be one of our own. Come on people wake up.

  4. Hi,
I was going to ask when you did the banking episode, but we were skiing for a few weeks and it was a mater of priorities.
I am planning on winning the euro lottery this Friday, it stands at £82,000,000. When we do would you recommend us to buy farm land and getting you to farm it? My mother’s family come from a farming background and it has always been a wish to own land, but we are one generation away from actually farming.
    If this a good plan?

  5. Good evening James

I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head.
This and previous governments do not want British agriculture !
I believe they want to look after shier chums that have power in other countries too invest in land that becomes available over here ..
Land will become government owned and that’s what they want , it’s all about control.

James Dyson on the other hand fair play to him buying land surely that’s a good thing a British company investing back here ?
I know if I had the money I’d be buying land/farms but I’d rent them out .
There are many large estates as you well know in this country farming vast amounts of land and good luck to them .
This tax is going to be detrimental too all land owners however big or small .lufe long farms taken .generations of hard work down the drain.it

    Scary times ahead .

The governments will soon be backing British farmi g if there was a war here , just like all those years ago , trouble is food has been too readily available and nobody knows what it’s like to be hungry, like people in the Second World War and years after .
Farming is in my blood and I wish it was easier for all involved .

Keep the fight going and stick too your guns, but like all farmers have done so far on this you all have to stick together .
I’m backing you al the way 👍

  6. Looking forward to open day at P.X Farms
Is there going to be an email/website registration form? I can imagine number of visitors allowed on site will be limited on the day
