Your end comment about “this classic ship” summed up my thoughts as you worked your way from bottom to top. I am pleased to see that Fred has retained the elegance of the original and adding to it. I can’t believe the good value of the speciality restaurants. It still has fixed dining? That did surprise me. It may be my imagination but the casino seems to have shrunk considerably from the original with the pub occupying much of that space. I like the thought that there are plenty of spaces to sit quietly. I approve of the large art studio, but then I am a crafter and still use some of the things I made on my last FO cruise. The only thing that puzzles me and did on its sister ship is the lanai cabin. I felt so sorry for those who had them especially on warm days when occupants wanted to sit outside their cabins only to find the chairs had been moved elsewhere on the deck. Certainly your tour of the of the ship makes me want to consider a cruise out of Liverpool. As one long past my prime this elegant (and in my mind proper) cruise ship appeals to me so much more than the behemoths now on the high seas. I look forward to your review of your short cruise.
Bolette tips for people! 1) The photo gallery has a photo competition for guests. It's £2 per entry. 2) Vasco restaurant. You've probably already heard but it bears repeating: Bring an appetite! You get breads, all four starters to share and the mains are exceptionally filling. 3) the buffet service is not a normal queuing system. you take your plate to the food you want, a chef will take your plate and you can then tell him what else you want piled onto it.
That weather looks wicked. It looks like a very intimate ship. Are classes such as arts and crafts common on cruise liners?

Great tour Jamie, thanks 😀 Wife and I on it in June and you've just resparked our desire, for Bolette 😊 Oh yes, meant to say – was on Queen Anne recently and my MDR waiter was named Jesus (yes really!) so every time he brought me something, like a bread roll or glass of wine I said "thank you Jesus" …made me think of you and chuckle 😂! We are currently looking to travel with FO. Did you hear any feedback as to what the Terrace cabins are like.
Wife and I were on this same mini Cruise from Liverpool too .. Didn't see you .. Wife spent most of the day in bed seasick and a few days after getting home we both came down with the worst cough/flu bug we had ever had. Wife still on antibiotics and steroids three weeks later. Ship doesn't ride the waves very well. We were on deck one on same level as medical centre .. Better for seasickness but maybe not for germs! Great informative video though !
