Here's a question: if Tyrian served one of the Chaos gods from WarHammer 40k, which one would it be?
HELL YES!
Forest: And Ironwood's personal attack dogs
Marrow: Hey, I take offense to that!
Watts: I have the high ground
Lying to Ironwood was one of the worst decisions Ruby made. Show would have been way different if she told the truth
1:28:55 Because if whatever man is in her final thoughts, then the power chooses the next host randomly, and as fucked up as Fria’s isolation is, that’s not a risk Ironwood can take
Jacques mentioning Weiss’s mom is foreshadowing when Salem does the same thing with Ruby
Lol it was Warner Brothers that owned Rooster Teeth and they are the ones that closed it, Viz media has said they will do more they just don't know in what format
Sad that Rooster Teeth did cut the credits from vol 5 or 6s onwards from the blue rays.
Aside from the concept art that is gonna be missed, Ep 12's credits hits harder when THAT song plays afterwards after a small bit of silence.
Is just not the same without it
Moral of the story, maybe we don’t lie when we have to fight an ancient evil. Probably should know all of our options. Just a thought…
I'm gonna point out an annoying thing about the RWBY fandom is that there are so many people getting on the groups back for lying to Ironwood painting it as them using him which couldn't be furthest from the truth so thank you for immediately recognizing why Ruby felt like she had to lie to General Ironwood it's not that they didn't want to trust him it's more like they didn't know if he could handle the truth about everything they learned from Jinn and the end of the Volume 7 proves them right because Ironwood snapped from the stress he couldn't handle it and this is something that is never explained but it's why he's like this Ironwood's semblance is called Mettle it strengthens his resolve, allowing him to carry through with making tough decisions and helped him hyper-focus on whatever he needed to focus on. Basically once Ironwood has his mind completely set on something he won't change his mind no matter who or what gets in his way Mettle however is a passive semblance meaning that it essentially acts as the uncompromising aspect of Ironwood's personality. It emboldened him to act swiftly and helped lessen the psychological burden of difficult decisions; if anything got in the way of his goals, he took action to eliminate the variable from the equation as soon as possible. However, this had the consequence of feeding into his paranoia, making him hesitant to take advice from or even trust those closest to him. the sole exception to this being Winter Schnee by his own admission. Unfortunately Mettle is unable to fully suppress his mental burdens or mounting stress, nor could it grant him true emotional clarity, at best, it could make him appear calm and collected, even when he was acting otherwise.
“We’ll follow your lead Ruby.” And then they didn’t.😅
Did y'all really watch the election episode right before the 2024 US election? Now you're gonna be accused of prewatching real life that's hella timing
All of their ammunition is dust
I mean since the show got cancelled, technically two seasons left
I love this show so gd much
Not only was Clover and Qrow's chemistry was off the charts ❤️😍… The music was phenomenal! I personally think Vol. 7 has the best music that includes the best intro!! 🎵😃
Finally, I've been waiting for this.
That’s Watts
2:59:20
Salem: Your mother
Ruby: cries
Salem and her circle
I can't wait for them to react to the next season
It's hard to see someone else living your dream. Lmfao damn at least man deserves it
I've always loved Ruby's choice to withhold information from Ironwood. In fact, it's one of the reasons V7 is my favorite. In my opinion, an ironic tragedy where both sides could have done the right thing is far more compelling than a story where the heroes never make mistakes and are always on the side of moral righteousness. Tired of people portraying Ruby's decision to lie as a storytelling flaw when it's just something they subjectively disagree with; she did the best she could with the information she had. Besides, heroes making mistakes just makes them human – and when they don't, that's how you get a Mary Sue
Also if people could stop claiming they know what choices fictitious characters written by someone else would've made under different circumstances based on their subjective reading of the story, that'd be great, thanks
I love how in the Haven arc everyone actually came together and helped each other, and then this arc is the complete opposite
YES YES YES this is my favorite Volume!!!!!!
Ironwood became my favorite character this season
Volume 8 and 9 are emotionally kill these guys
1:28:30 the Fall Maiden was allowed to be free before, that is how she was attacked in the first place. She was traveling along and was attacked by Cinder. After the attack, she was in a coma and was kept isolated to protect her from attach again. Presumably, the Winter Maiden also had her own life and is only isolated now as she is nearing her death.
Man I wish Oscar was included in the huntsmen license party! Why wasn’t he? It would have been a nice interaction with the team even if he didn’t say anything
1:28:31 on the lines of this, personally I think it’s fucked up how important it is for your last thoughts to be about the next maiden, cause personally I want my last living moments to be thinking about my loved ones but you’re not even allowed that liberty
Semi-fun fact, the mine they fight the Geist in is the one that Ilia’s parents died in during the accident that got it shut down. Hence why Blake was so uncomfortable when she realised what it was.
So the good and bad thing about Clover and Qrows friendship is that both their semblances cancel eachother out when they're around eachother. Good because for Qrow he can finally have a friend without his bad luck complicating things. Its also why he's rarely ever home with Tai and his nieces.
Bad because in a fight they can't get all the benefits from they're semblances can offer. Qrow's bad luck can affect his enemies and Clovers goodluck can affect himself and his teammates. But together it won't do much or anything.
Sucks that Clover got greedy with his arrest quota also Robin being stupid and trigger happy. She had no reason to fight on the airship and Qrow likely would've convinced Clover to hold off until they talked to James.
When Salem Arrives
Slipspace rupture detected.
Ruff’s face is very expressive, it’s nice to watch him during these reactions
