This truly was the year of shadow I hope other characters get their own year like silver or blaze ect but shadow was so popular to get it and made more scene
Now the world knows that shadow is more then just an edgelord you find at your local hot topic but a fearless badass

Honestly it’s rare to see a character like shadow be de flanderized. He really was reduced to a weird cobbled together mess of Vegeta and Sasuke for so many years. He hasn’t been treated this well since his debut game.
now for 2027 i hope metal and amy gets the same treatment as shadow (or 26 when ever paramount and sega start their campaign for the movie)
I'm still wary of Shadow, I think the edgelord is still lurking and he might come out sooner or later. But at least for now Shadow seems fine in the latest years. Movie Shadow and Shadow in games written by Maekawa are the best because they feel genuine and are full of surprises.
Shadow the hedgehog is personally my favorite character growing up in the Sonic series in my opinion.
Shadow has always been one of my favorite Characters in fiction. I'm so glad that Shadow Generations and Sonic 3 actual made him a broken person who still can be a hero after years of being the Edgelord we were given for almost a decade
