Yondu is a hero in the Marvel universe who’s incredibly fast at taking down mobs. Even though he doesn’t have superpowers, he can control the Yaka Arrow with his mouth, which shows he’s really badass. He’s a descendant of the Centaurians, with blue skin, a set of rotten teeth, and a soft spot for small toys, like a girl with a sweet tooth for cute things.
As a space hunter, Yondu takes any job as long as there’s a paycheck. That’s why his comrades look down on him. He once took in 9 – year – old Star – Lord instead of handing him over to the employer. He raised Star – Lord and trained him to be a Ravager. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1, Star – Lord betrayed Yondu for the Power Stone. Yondu said he’d kill Star – Lord himself, but when he caught him, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. Later, Yondu tried to protect Star – Lord, but his men mutinied and locked him up. When he learned Star – Lord was in danger, he wiped out his mutinous crew and went to the rescue. In the end, Yondu gave Star – Lord his only spacesuit to save him, sacrificing himself in the process.
