The SIU has laid criminal charges against two Durham officers for a wrong way police chase on Highway 401, leading to a crash that killed four people; the Toronto police union says George Sault had 75 convictions prior to being taken in after allegedly ramming police cars in a stolen white Hummer; and, qs Ontario begins sending out $200 rebate cheques to residents, the Opposition continues to dismiss the move as a pre-ballot box bribe.

Justice for Pat stay they are just letting killers out 😢
Fat corrupt cops the whole system is corrupt, how can you go the wrong way . Wrong way to do your job.
The cops in pursuit should have waited for other officers to be able to locate the robbers on the highway but driving the right way. How do I know? Because the cops would have charged you for going the wrong way even if you were vulnerable (e.g. road rage driver chasing you). I mean it was an LCBO a robbery. If the cops weren’t chasing the robbers would the robbers be driving on the wrong side of the road or just driving back home? Also who caused the head on collision? The robber or the cops?
Omg why we haven't heard this news..the police are responsible because they killed those people! It seems cops in Canada dont take responsibility for any wrongdoing. They always blame others for their incompetence. Reminds me of Trudeau..never get accountable for any wrongdoing!
U can't tell me that the police aren't idiots
Police won't take your stolen vehicle back even if the thieves park it on the corner of your street but they want to chase people the wrong way down a highway?
Hows about stopping high speed chases especially the wrong way on highways. block off the ramps radio ahead etc
Nathan downer is 🗑️ and a fake reporter
Throw them in jail these cops cannot think. They've been taught to use judgemen. This is Criminal
The police are now, if they follow a criminal, they get charges more fast that, the criminals on bail.
Im sorry but those cops killed those people u had the cars info no chase should of ever happened
Everyone with the latest iPhones and Android phones and their videos are blurry and shaky AF
2:25 😒 even when they wrong they still don't wonna admit it… 4 people lost they life and all they got to say is "well it wasn't our fault, its they're fault 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏻♂️🤷🏼♀️"
The undercover PO should have been armed, why wasn't he?
You think cops care ? They knew the dangers of such an action but did it anyways because even if they get charged it won’t be like charging a civilian due to qualified immunity and their union which backs them up even when they commit such crimes . Corrupt system-police-.
Legalized khat now
Trump is a serial rapist and MAGA is a we todd cult.
Toronto cops are all wannabe cowboys!
They don't need to go wrong ways.
That is crazy police. Don't need to do that. They can find others way. To stop. Them
Nothing worse than a cop on adrenaline! High speed chases always end this way, especially in cities. When will the cops learn?
Lets put the blame exactly where is belongs the Liberal gov for their woke liberal policies that have repeat offenders getting bail over and over
For that $10 mickey, was it really worth it ?
Lawmakers are simply accomplices of criminal activities. Judges should also be sent to jail for letting repeated criminals go free.
SIU should find ample reasons why this suspect wasn't in jail after 75 convictions!!!!!! They never mention that the suspect is the one taken the wrong way.
Tragic and catastrophic mishandling of police officers doing their job. How cowards are SIU and the police chief ready to go to be politically correct while the criminal returns to probation. The SIU and police chief should be ashamed. So cowardly.
How about the cops STOP chasing criminals when there are innocent citizens around.
I'm sure precinct have means to get a hold of choppers.
People have to stop upholding the police that do not use common sense.
Well this is one huge mistake that are government has allowed drugs to be handed out like candy we don't want to keep feeding them poisoned and killing family's from lose of life. I have lots friends who have died of suicide people are being pushed into a bad place
Now every armed robber & other criminals will just jump on the highway & go the wrong way … ridiculous!

Guy in hummer was probably let. Out that night government has failed us
75 convictions, Canada is sweeeeeeeet😂😂😂😂😂…
the law should apply to everyone,if she broke the law arrest her,if she was doin speed limit he would still be alive, police permitted to get away with neglegence causing death, for coffee, cant make this stuff up,A grieving widow whose husband was run over and killed by a speeding Ontario Provincial Police officer can’t believe the force told her it won’t hold a public hearing into the case because it decided the misconduct was "not serious." Courtney D’Arthenay said she was shocked to read those words in a letter from OPP brass — a decision that narrows potential penalties for the officer involved and leaves her wondering if she will ever get answers to her many outstanding questions in the case.“My entire life is completely altered in a way I could never imagine. I can’t go back to what it was. It’s the most serious thing when you don’t have a life partner any more,” D’Arthenay said in an interview. In response to questions from CTV News Toronto, an OPP spokesperson agreed the tone of the response was "cold"Around midnight on September 29, 2020, Dorzyk, 35, was run over and killed in Midland, north of Barrie. An investigation found Const. Jaimee McBain was driving an unmarked SUV at the time, returning from getting coffee for another officer at a crime scene.the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD), did find McBain committed discreditable conduct. The vehicle’s GPS showed she was speeding between 72 km/h and 97 km/h, even though the limit at that intersection was 60 km/h.But the OPP took the complaint in another direction, After careful consideration… it is my decision the misconduct was not of a serious nature and this matter can be addressed informally without holding a hearing,” wrote Supt. Tracy Dobbin of the OPP’s Office of Professionalism,You would hope that the police would take this seriously enough to hold the officer accountable. But they’ve used the lack of seriousness, which society treats pedestrian deaths, to excuse the officer of significant wrongdoing. That’s morally reprehensible. I think normal person would hear this story and be appalled,”It also substantiated misconduct against an attending office, Sgt. Amy Thompson, who made comments blaming Dorzyk for his own death“But the choice she made, to be speeding as a professional driver, she fundamentally didn’t uphold what we count on her to do as a community. And the ramifications of her choices are irreparable, she is curruntely being payed 141,899 tax dollars and actually recieved several raises since the incident
What a 3rd world socialist 💩 hole.
so police just let the bad guys go now not worth your life, jobs or career. disgusting who would be a cop now in 2025 😢😮
