No Man's Sky Frigate Fleet Update Spawning Sac's Super Rare Now Captain Steve Plays NMS Guide

No Man’s Sky Frigate Fleet Update Spawning Sac’s Super Rare Now Captain Steve Plays NMS Guide – Spawning Sac is a Living Ship technology and allows the player to increase starship inventory. An additional storage nodule for Sentient starships. Upon hatching, the parasite inside this sac is grafted upon the vessel, exchanging the use of its cavernous innards for vital nutrients from the host.

  1. since we got living frigates..i have got like 110 eggs…and only 6 spawn sacs…..and out of those eggs i have only got 2 of the spewing vents or whatever for the main guns to upgrade…getting a little tiring!

  2. Sent out maybe 30 missions, got ONE sac. Right after the update dropped, I got a handful of them really quickly, but now they're crazy rare. The old double refiner glitch DOES work with them thankfully.

  3. I got a total of 3 since they came out – doing 5 missions per day. I guess the “saving grace” is that, even with the new upgrade and expansion availability it is pretty hard to care since the living ship is still pretty meh. HG maybe should add some kind of special mission type that can be done only with them. I nearly fully upgraded mine after the living ships were first introduced the “normal” way, and even now it continues to merely sit in the hanger – too uncompelling to use, too expensive to merely trash for parts. 🙁

  4. Until hello games make their drop rate at least somewhat reasonable, like… half as often as psychonic eggs, even 1/3rd as often as psychonic eggs, I'll just dupe 'em. I spent over 1200hours and ran an insane amount of space expeditions, over 50 during the "Endurance" update. Only got one finally a few days ago and I said to myself "Ah hell nah, I ain't sending another ~2200 space expeditions till I get enough sacks to fill up my S-Class living ship. So I duped it and filled my ship with slots. Sent around the same amount of expeditions since then and got over 60 psychonic eggs and another spawning sack. Their drop rate might be 1:50 compared to psychonic eggs which is completely insane.

  5. Lol. I've been stockpiling spawning sacs and have many in my legacy normal game save. Plus , yesterday I was in the Anomaly with crossplay off and saw other players on my ps4. If you happen to find me in the Anomaly, I'm sure we could work out a trade for my spawning sacs in exchange for say , starship ai valves.

  6. the one thing i dont get form missions is the starship augmentations none at all and no rare metals either or hardly anything just units and one or two psychonic eggs or the rare items thats about it or anything for the freighters too hoping they fix that though also

  7. Haven’t had one and been sending all missions out every day. I did read somewhere that sending organic frigates only on a particular mission will increase the chance of getting a spawning sac.

Thanks Captain of the Steve’s, heck yes.

  8. Creative mode lets you do as you please (it’s all free) 😂
In normal mode don’t waste them going to 48 slots on the organ chamber just yet it’s a waste, I recommend players save them, if you want to skip waiting on frigate missions breed them in a refiner 😉

  9. Captain! I found an exploit which gives infinite life support energy, I think it's still in todays version of NMS. This is what needs to be done:

Move the life support module and its upgrades from the technology category to your main inventory category.

Travel to a new galaxy, this should damage the module.

Then repair everything that is not the LS module and ignore its tied upgrades as well.

Now you have infinite LS energy and you won't need to ever recharge it.(as long as the support module never gets repaired.)

May you please make a video to prove that this real?

  10. I got tired of waiting. Did the offline change my computer time trick. Took til November 26th doing all available missions to get one.

Decided to just dupe them after that.

Don't feel bad about that, in game it's a computer simulation, so finding hacks and does isn't cheating, it's lore accurate.

  12. I was having as much of an issue getting these things as some others were having with the dream aerials. It took me about 50-60 missions to get just one on my normal save but on my expedition save i got 1 on my first mission 🤯

  13. They were extremely rare for me but I started getting them a couple of days ago. I thought it was because I didn’t have a living ship that needed them. But I did get psyconic eggs just about Avery mission

  14. I wonder if you need to own a living ship to get the dream aerial or completed the mission to get one. I still haven't gotten one so maybe that's why.

  15. another thing is after i fully completed the expedition twice now the base parts did not show up at all nothing nada nope and i found a very good world i dont want to leave at all i got the egg too and every phase done but no parts to make a proper base on the planet and the base overseer glitched i might have to go rehire a new one again,

  16. On my Normal save in Steam, I've been sending at least one Living Frigate out on a long expedition almost every day since I got my Dream Aerial and I've seen 2? 3? of these sacs overall. A lot rarer than standard Starship Storage Augmentations. Maybe Living Frigate quality has an effect?

  17. Hate to be that guy, but I have found more of these than i can possibly have a use for, pretty much any org frigate included in a mission will bring back at least one, absolutely drowning in physcotic eggs 🙂 . I'm currently in galaxy 50 and am core jumping my way to 256. Haven't spent any time in what you'd call populated sytems for ages, so that may have something to do with the higher find rate. Or just sods law in action, don't need em, here have loads 😀
