The Panther and the Rottweiler were actually fur sister besties on tiktok. The body language of the pounces are what kittens do to play and not what cats do when hunting prey. The way she puts her back legs is how you can tell. If she was trying to hurt the dog her back legs would be forward to rake the dog with her hind claws but they are back so they remain undeployed to avoid accidentally hurting her sibling. She is practicing hunts with her sister. It's scary but a big cat expert once weighed in and explained it. Wholesome af!

I had the same realization as Niki about becoming a vet or working with animals.
Big cats like lions and tigers actually have such strong and coarse tongues that they can lick the meat off bones. Basically, you don't want to get licked by them too much because it's like if someone took sandpaper to your skin.
Yeah I get why the corgi moved places.
1) The sun was right there where it was sleeping
2) the floor was likely a lot cooler than that hot ass cushion that it had to share with it's sibling.
I get cuddle-time. I approve of cuddle-time, but when it's hot and humid outside and you start sweating just because you stand up AND you can literally feel the humidity weighing you down. You need to move away from the stifling body contact and sleep on something cool to lower your body heat.

A friend of mine had an adult black panther named Onyx. The day I met her I sat on the couch & a while later felt warm breath on the back of my neck, followed by her fitting the entire side of my skull (both sides) in her mouth. When she let go she cleared the couch in a light jump to land in front of me & stuffed her nose in my crotch. Then she climbed up on the cushion next to me. My buddy said good job- you passed her test. I asked, what happens if you fail? He said, most pissed themselves- & she dragged them off the couch & growled at them. Then he said, everyone always assumes that that's my couch; it's not- it's HER couch. He then had me bring the piss cushion out back to switch it with the regular one. Eventually we play fought, wrestled, played hide & seek (which I never once won) & got the occasional nuzzle, cuddle, or her sleeping on my lap. (He now lives in a different state, so sadly I don't get to see them often anymore.)
With a coffee mug that size, Niki is definitely an honorary Finn 😀 Sam Lake would be proud.

Interesting fact. Red Pandas were just called Pandas until we discovered the giant black and white ones. They also belong in different families. Red Pandas are in their own family while the Giant Panda is in the bear family.
