The Chief suicides ??? …. Unsubscribed. !
Alex is in hospital because of a car accident ??? … Double Unsubscribed !.
Fallen with Denzel…
Some of the best movies are when the villains win, excellent choice guys!!!
Anakin didn't become a jedi master that's kind of the pushing factor for a lot of the anger, come on guys, unsubscribe.
I decided I'd have to kick-off if you didn't mention Nightcrawler and BANG first on the list. Luckily for you, I won't have to lose my shit now. As you were. 😉
No Ferris Bueller?? Unsubscribed.
Liking your works lads, could you maybe just stop referring to everything as 'The best….' it's all quite arbitrary and 'The best' of anything is entirely subjective. Perhaps 'Most popular' could be an adequate replacement.
Otherwise, keep it up!
W episode
I diasgree with the Dark Knight as The Joker was his entire philosophy was proved wrong and with dent being portrayed as a hero, his secondary insane(which was if people saw that Harvey Dent who was good went bad everyone else would be out for themselves) idea didn't work out.
Hereditary is absolutely soul destroying. One of the best horror films I've ever seen, up there with the Shining. Keep up the great work guys
You guys kind of messed up on the ending of Clockwork Orange great pod tho and a great listen
This is my moment. You forgot Arlington Road, unsubscribed.
You need to rewatch 'One Flew Over…'
'Presumed Innocent'?
29:00 Huh, i didn't know that "Chief" committed suicide at the end of the movie 🤔I've always believed, that after smothering "McMurphy" with the pillow, he breaks the window with that bath cube thing and escapes. But then again, you guys are the film buffs, you know the movie better 🤣🤣🤣
Just kidding… UNSUBSCRIBE!
Regarding The Witch:
Based on theological premises presented in the film, God is the villain because Puritan doctrine makes him out to be tyrannical in regards to election. He uses black Phillip and the witches to carry out his elected process to the families demise. Scary shit.
Regarding No Country for Old Men:
The battle between free will and determinism, with Anton Chighur embodying the presupposition of determinism for him to get his comuppence in the end with the car wreck.
He thought he had the world figured out with him becoming existentially confused. Banger of a metaphor and an ending to a damn near perfect film.
Based on my evaluation and the underlying narrative of the film, Anton does not win. His existential confusion becomes his undoing.
Bro why is one flew over here UNSUBSCRIBED
Need to see Cool Hand Luke asap! Glad to see Fincher in his rightful place! I also would become wrath I believe. "John Doe has the upper hand!"
Best thing to watch after finally finishing your exams.❤
No There Will Be Blood?! #Unsubscribed!
If you think about it….The lion king, Skyfall and Raiders of the lost ark.
LOVED this episode guys. Unsurprisingly my favorite bit was your shoutout to ME regarding my recent review of your show. SO glad that you enjoyed it ❤.
Appropriately I had just previously watched for first time the (superior) unrated Director’s Cut of Ridley Scott’s 2013 thriller The Counselor. That movie totally nailed this episode’s theme, although not so much in a fun vicarious way than in a cold fucked-up manner. Consider where the writer ended up on your list…
If you’re curious about Paul Giamatti’s podcast I’d highly recommend you start by sampling episode 64s hilarious Bill Hader hangout. You can thank me later.
For the record, the podcast name is Chinwag, not Chin WANG 😂😂.
