Does the author have any comments on the emptiness of space? Like they knew that having external speakers is a waste of power in space. Nobody is going to hear anything in space.
First I enjoyed the story, even my wife laughed and said turn it up.
Second I've never met a person named Rex. Several Dogs yes, a cat, and in Radio Serial shows of the 1940s or 1950. Keep this going, there's a series here to be made.
That AI ship should go fetch it's brethren and give them a new life.

Oh okay so broadcast song into space with external speakers? Like that's going to cause anything? Sometimes these guys you create these AI generator. Things should listen to them first before posting them
