That poor girl new something was wrong & told her mom about two prior incidents in the week of a man walking in on her in the bathroom and a car following her home. She knew something was not right and had a bad feeling and was still allowed to walk home alone at 9: 00 at night. Just heartbreaking.
Also moving out of WA state myself for safety and passing mccleary a lot when my dad went surfing it’s not a safe area at all. She should have chosen a small town in the Bible Belt , not one in wa. Just cause you live by the beach doesn’t mean there isn’t drugs and poverty . She really seemed like a clueless person or hoping for something bad to happen. I think she’s crying from guilt and not love
I truly hope they looked into that friend's mom because that seems hokey. In my opinion especially in Washington big rig truck drivers drive through there all the time…
If she walked there just fine I can see why the friends mother thought she would be fine to walk home. As much as I want to blame her I understand why she didn’t drive the girl home.
My car was fondly known as “mum’s taxi” I took my daughter everywhere. I also took her friends if they needed to go somewhere & had no transportation. I can’t for the life of me understand why her friend’s mother let her walk home. She could have called Lindsey‘s mum to come get her. Also if my daughter was saying someone was following her I’d never have let her out my sight until I knew there was nothing untoward going on. They are either the most naive people on the planet or there’s something we are not seeing here.
Wow she let her daughter walk 6 blocks away no way i didn’t let my kids walk by them selfs lil alone by them self I would walk my kids to skool even when they were going to middle skool especially my youngest one cuz he wuz the only one that had to walk by him self the older ones r 4 and all them e some of the kids around the block would walk to skool but all together never alone I walked my youngest son to middle skool until he graduated I know a lot of u r going to say middle skool but hey im glad I did cuz stuff like this mothers going through what they r going through b-cuz there kids were kidnapped 😢
I just don't understand why any grown adult would think it's ok to let a 10 year old child walk 8 blocks alone at almost 10 o'clock at night, like that lady did not give a single shit
Tbh its not the friends mum fault…her own mum shouldve picked her up and checked up..personally i wouldn't let my kids friends walk home alone…but we dont know her situation..she may of had other young kids in bed or couldnt leave house.
Her friends mother is probably being haunted as we speak. Knowing she allowed that baby to walk home alone & in the dark and 8 blocks??? OMG I hope the brother is im counseling. Pretty sure he has a lot of regrets as well but nothing unusual siblings arguing.

Did the buisness man with the white truck who had inconsistencies in his story travel in his line of work? Remains found 300 miles away could indicate the suspect travels lomg distances as part of their job.

There is no way I would've allowed a child. Whether the child was mine or not. To walk home alone. I couldn't forgive myself for that.
