President Trump claims he is doing this since the US is the only country that offers birthright citizenship.
Under the new order, the children of undocumented immigrants will not be given American citizenship just because they were born on US soil.
For now, this doesn’t affect those who are birthright citizens currently, but it does affect the children of millions of undocumented immigrants in the US seeking a better life for their families.

It is not fair for those who came here legally. A lot of people want to live in America for better life. We waited almost 12 years just to immigrate here and waited another 5 years to be able to apply for citizenship. Working 3 jobs then and paying taxes and you see a lot these just cutting line yet receiving a lot of handouts. Not fair for taxpaying residents as well.
I don't necessarily disagree with this idea, but T Rump just can't change it. It is in the Constitution & needs 2/3's vote of both Senate & House to pass it.

That is not a violation of the 14th Amendment. The birthright citizenship clause states. 2 legal citizens have a child, and that child has birthright citizenship. 2 illegal aliens have a child does not automatically make that child a citizen. The democrats have twisted that clause of the 14th Amendment.
