  1. I appreciate the history involved with the brand and it is a beautiful watch as it. But I think people would be happier with an Islander Brookville. Better price, better clasp, similar style. The only thing you lose is the eta movement.

  2. I have a Sugess day / date. The date when it gets to double digits is misaligned. It almost looks like that on the one you are reviewing. Maybe just my eyes, but since I noticed it on mine, I always see it. My movement originally did move together. They still do, but at 10:30. It has to go now. Nice review!

  3. I sure wish someone could make a day/date gmt movement with a 24hr bezel, silicon spring for magnetic resistance, and highly legible like a Sinn. That would be the ultimate pilot's watch. I have gmt's already, but it's not uncommon that on day 4 or 5 of a week long trip, after crossing 28 time zones, I no longer know what day it is.

  4. I preferred the images of the vintage Herodia watches, though I realize such reissues might be a harder sell. They would be for different customers I suppose though I think Squale lovers would appreciate them. You should source some decent clasps and throw one in with each purchase. Also tell your supplier that must be fixed if he expects to get his money.

  5. Love it! Nice gada watch. The clasp is trash but upgrading it by spending an extra $100 maybe and you'll have a watch that will last a long time. That ETA 2834 is sweet! It was used in the Prince day-date from Tudor as well as a couple models of Breitling. Good deal IMHO. $450 for the date version only, forget about it!!!
