  1. Thanks for covering this map!
As a jp player and big time fan of the jp region this was such a big win and im glad you covered it!
Also I have been sharing your jp channel to anyone who asks for coaching vids or reference lol. There's honestly such a lack of jp videos covering pro analysis or even good coaching so I'm really happy you have that resource

  2. Yeah I can see how pros really like clash as it's a very fast dynamic game mode with interesting decision making, but I still think it is absolutely terrible in a non coordinated environment. In coordinated environment, you can chose if you want your team to take a fight and use ultimate or just play for the ult economy and give up the infamous last point that is impossible to take anyways. You can guarantee someone is on the point, which is important as the points tick so fast that in rank it's generally a C9 fest. And the biggest problem of the mode, which is staggering and team not regrouping before team fights to throw themselves on the point before your opponent can capture it is less of an issue in pro either, at least it's not more of an issue than on other gamemodes.

I think they really need to change the way the points work. First point is fine as both team are on equal footing, but in my opinion the rest of the points should work as defend/attack points. Right now this game mode feels like 2CP if the defending team was allowed to capture their own point, which is heavily defender favoured. If the first fight is won by a team, they can often secure fight 2 thanks to the ult advantage, but then arrive to third point with no ultimates and a super disadvantageous position. The way the point system works right now is basically rewarding the team that just lost two team fights with a free point win and generally a nice stagger. With changing last point to attacker/defender with a timer just enough to allow for 2 team fights, you can guarantee that the winning team still has an opportunity to win the point rather than auto losing.

  3. spotting the chinese players from OWL back in the game again is very cool, actually gleeful when I saw Mmonk, Shy and even Guxue there at the end. Im glad that the talented players get to play again in professional context

  4. The problem with both push and clash is that more often than not the best way to win is the longest way. With push you almost always win on time and with clash it’s usually best to end the game 5-3 because you have such a hard time taking final point.😊

  5. I think clash is fundamentally flawed for normal players. No other game mode gives you points for using such a big defender's advantage.
Escort/Push – you defend, but earn points on attack.
KotH/Flash – each team starts on equal footing to earn the defender's advantage each point.

and then there's clash, where the mode gives you a nearly impenetrable fortress to defend and gives you points for doing it. I don't know why blizzard hasn't addressed this yet. So many clash games feel like one side is stomping but you look at the scoreboard and somehow it's 4-4 and the stomping team can lose from 1 mistake.

  6. Hey Ocie, been watching your main and flex support vids and I have a question: is there a definition to these terms in thhe context of the heroes?
Like your example with a Sojourn – her execution heavily relies on her railgun so she is a hitscan DPS.
Or main tank – the one who can efficiently take and hold space.
