Flynn Group Chief Transformation Officer Lauren Leahy says there have been “endless calls” on social media to bring Wendy’s to Australia.

Her comments come as Flynn Group opened their Wendy’s fast food store on the Gold Coast, 40 years after the last one closed down.

“90 per cent of Australians know the Wendy’s brand and are ready to try it … we know there’s tremendous demand,” Ms Leahy told Sky News Business Reporter Ed Boyd.

  22. Fast food is great, they should make it healthy though by getting rid of any dodgy chemical additives and also make it with healthy ingredients. Also what ruins it is when they reduce the quality and increase the prices all the time. Also they all should make their fast food with out being so greedy, they should never use cruel industrial farming.

    Most people have been saying all this for years also and have wanted these things.!

  23. Companies often ruin/wreck things sadly and often because of greed and greedy executives and corporate mentality/system and bonuses etc.

    Many theme parks are great but often get ruined by greed, the same with many products, many snack foods get ruined by changing the original quality and or size. It is crazy and stupid. Maccas restaurants used to be good but now they have lost the feel of the place and the atmosphere. The cafe is gone, the pretty ladies are gone.

    Rsl's and clubs with pokies used to be better, you could hear the coins hit the metal tray when people collected it added to the atmosphere, they used to have more promotions like bucks or the bounty and decent prize giveaways etc and waterfeatures/waterfalls and jackpot noises announcing jackpots won and thunder and lightening noises and lights and all kinds of great atmosphere like that, but all that was taken away and ruined.
    Then on top of all that they pay you nothing now and are such rip offs. All their gambling systems are completely rigged and complete robbery.

    Everywhere there used to be pizza huts and many night clubs and dance clubs and roller rinks and ice skating rinks and ten pin bowling and water slide parks and roller coaster parks with 360 degree swinging pirate ships but most of them are gone and closed now, it really is pretty garbage these days really, in many ways. Australia's Wonderland is gone, the waterworks in Mt Druitt is gone and everyone has been very angry about all of that for the last 30 years.!!
