  5. IPS panel doesn't always mean quality, I've seen plenty of bad IPS panels in my day.

    If the Switch doesn't have an OLED panel, they're going to need to justify that. The price better be worth it and it better be a darn good LCD panel that they use. OLED isn't the premium cost it once was, especially in the quantity that Nintendo would be ordering them from suppliers. There's really no excuse to go LCD to shave a few bucks off the cost. It's not like how it was when Switch 1 launch.

    The only reason I could think of with them holding off on OLED is so they can have a mid-cycle refresh like they did with Switch 1. Even if they used LCD, what's with the bezels? We know they can put a thin bezel on that thing, but they're not. If they did, they wouldn't have the side by side marketing photo to get you to buy another Switch when Switch 2 OLED drops, where the only improve is a larger OLED panel that actually shrinks down the bezel and maybe slight tweaks to fix design flaws with the launch edition Switch 2. I'm sick of that crap. Right up there with Nintendo getting fans to rebuy titles over and over again.

  6. Just personally, the main prospect that excites me about the switch 2 is if Nintendo have built a more solid online experience complete with voice chat. If Nintendo have created their own switch 2 voice chat service where you can talk to friends whilst simultaneously play Mario Kart 9 and talk to friends on day one of the Switch 2's launch, that would make it worth buying for me
