  1. Some Feedback: I really don’t like that game in middle(entire intermission section)…ads are fine.

I dont mind it as individual episode but it breaks the flow here, I always skip it.

  2. After Empire, this is the second movie I remember seeing in the theaters. My mom took me to see it, saying it has Han Solo with a whip and snakes. Such a great picture!

  3. Definitely right to note that at 8:40 bc he falters over the word NEOLITHIC in his first scene at Marshall College. I think there is definitely an intentional difference between him being a teacher and, in his spare time, a “grave robber.” Awesome episode!

  4. Maybe it was intentional, maybe not, but I think there’s a clear contrast between Indy teaching his students vs teaching the government agents. During the scene explaining the arc, there’s a passion and energy to Indy breaking down history for the agents that he just doesn’t have in his classroom. He’s definitely more rigid and monotone teaching his students because half of them probably aren’t interested and then other half just wanna bang him lol. These agents need him and he really gets to flex his expertise. And we as the audience are the agents. That scene is so engaging because Indy is captivating us the same way with how well he lays all the exposition out. Brilliant film

  5. Been a fan of the pod since 2021 but I've held my tongue on this for long enough… James, compile-ation is not a word, It's com-pi-lation. Please rectify this immediately or I'll be forced to unsubscribe!

  6. re. Pat Roach. Also played the Chief Guard for Mola Ram in Temple of Doom and the gong ringer at the beginning!
AND! Played a Gestapo agent in the Zeppelin scene in The Last Crusade.
    What a dude.

  7. As they said on The Big Bang Theory, when all is said and done, Jones's contribution to the adventure was spurious. They would have found it, taken it and opened it and melted with or without him!

  8. Indy has to stop the Nazis from obtaining the ark. the Nazis get the ark. they open it. the ark defends itself and kills the Nazis. If you take Indy out of the story the outcome would still be the same. Indy is superfluous to the plot. In fact he is the only reason the Nazis get the ark. They were digging in the wrong place. he decides to dig it up within sight of the Nazis. He was really counting on the main bad guy to not look to his left when he leaves his own tent in the morning. Also i missed the part in the movie that said if you just closed your eyes the ark is rendered useless.

  9. Top men unearthing another top episode! One of my all-time time favorite movies, you guys should check out the Indiana Jones Minute Podcast. I wish I could be Pat Roach playing multiple characters throughout the series, dream job.
