  2. This is a straw man argument. Russia is going to win not because anyone thinks it never loses war but because a super powered nuclear country that has industry that out produces Europe and has a self sustaining enegry economy is always going to win in a war against its smaller weaker poorer neighbour even if that neighbour is the proxy of a super powered alliance bloc. The reason Obama left Ukraine alone is he understood Russia had "escalation dominance."

  3. Kievan Rus was extrerminated by Muscovites(Russians) the same as the Republic of Novgorod any many other states. It has as much to do with modern Russia as Italians have with Carthage. Ukraine have absolutely nothing to do with Kievan Rus as a state, kievans were totally different pepole whom lineage was cut and had no continuation. Calling it Ukrainian or Russian makes modern turks the decendents of byzantium. Ridicilous.

  4. Russia used its overwhelming population and massive territory to its advantage and detrimentally, they lost something like 20 million civilians. The ramifications of that lost would take over a century to recover and they still haven’t recovered. Putin is trying the same thing and it will effect his country negatively in twenty years from now just as Stalin has done caused a dent in the next generations. Statistically it was a Pyrrhic victory, Stalin purged his military in 37 and it definitively effected the early years of Barbarossa or the Great Patriotic War.

  5. Crimean War, Russo-Japanese, most of the Coalition Wars, Mongol Invasions, WW1, and Afghanistan are all wars Russia lost over the centuries. They have a decent track record, but aren’t invincible

  6. So what our enemy, the Soviet Union did what we did in Vietnam before. Then we did what the Soviet Union did in Iraq and Afghanistan. I’m sure there’s a lesson in here somewhere. 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

  7. Russia is like a wild careless giant. That sees any criticism as an attempt to start a fight. They carelessly use excessive force. Without care who they kill in a process. Sending its soldiers missions with certain death.

  8. ah yes the "kyivan rus" even though for the past 300 years on english maps weve used the name of kiev, in all honesty the historical revisionism that we in the US have done is comparable to the chinese cultural revolution

  9. Is Russia’s reputation for always winning wars a myth or a reality?
History shows both great victories and devastating defeats—so does Russia truly have an unbeatable war record, or is this just a legend?
