  1. why post this crap? this super nova actually occurred over 600 years ago! its taken 600 years for the light of the event to reach us. the light from this even will NOT be visible to the naked eye. On January 24, 2025, a lunar occultation of Antares, where the moon passes in front of Antares event making the radio waves visible to sensitive equipment! IT WILL NOT LIGHT UP THE NIGHT SKY!!!!

  3. It's 560 light years away. That means by the time we see anything on earth, it happened 550 human years ago…
    That star has a billion good years left on it yet. Don't mislead the kids guys.
