  1. I've always been a sucker for an underdog in Warhammer. I started collecting Ogres and Beastmen for the fact that no one played them at my local club. And Ogres are my spirit animal- constantly eating, brutalize everything and steal everything.
But Skaven are still the best. Yes-yes! Can't be more of an underdog when everyone and everything is out to get you and anything that went wrong was never possibly your fault; you were obviously betrayed and just need to make up the evidence to prove it.

  2. The reason the slann moved the continents was an old one prophecy which was averting a shaven doomsday device. That fact would please the dwarfs.but not avert the grudge

The skaven lorewise are inactive in old world because their civil wars are so intense they are debilitated. That stops when their god descends and makes a pillar that melts anyone unworthy for leadership setting in place the council of 13. So yeah the slaver are such children about power they needed god to come down to spank them to not infight in a way to render them a non factor

  3. i hope you find as good a story about kurze as you did for angron
hes a very broken man, but he has a good character beneath the horror
    and a great story
especially the final lesson that nobody seems capable of learning, in and outside the story

  4. So, bit of an odd thing to point out, but elves in Warhammer Fantasy don't give a shit about incest because it has no negative consequences for them; the Old Ones tried to make the elves as perfect as possible, and while they didn't necessarily succeed in that endeavor they did realize that they needed to compensate for the elves' relatively low birth rates by making sure they could have viable offspring with ANY other elf no matter how closely or distantly related they were in the event that the population was ever decimated fighting Chaos. So Malekith fucking his own mother wouldn't be viewed as immoral by elven society, but he might get made fun of for not being able to get with anyone besides his mother if it wasn't for the fact that she's arguably one of the hottest women to ever live and every male elf alive is jealous of a momma's boy.

Understandably, GW later decided that wincest is cringe and decided to walk that back, having Malekith and Morathi's incestuous relationship be either non-existent or subtly implied but probably not a thing, as opposed to before where they were explicitly having sex with each other.

All this to say that elves aren't just humans with pointy ears. They may look like that, but they ARE a completely different species, with a distinct mindset and biology that is decidedly not human.

Keep this in mind for other races like the Dwarfs, Orks and Goblins; they are not humans with quirks, they are entirely different species that could very well be from different planets, so don't expect them to think or behave like humans.

  5. The reason there are no Skaven race in 40k is because the imperium are Skaven.
Constantly backstabbing each other, most humans live in overcrowded and unhygienic hive cities, and they're willing to send millions to their deaths just to achieve an objective

  6. The funny thing about the Dwarfs is that, in the Age of Sigmar (if you don't know, it is the setting after this one), there are three distinct species of Dwarf, and one of them really likes using airships and personal hot air balloons.
