  2. No idea what I was watching?..but definitely there was nothing Swedish about it?!..looks more like an Arab blingbling house, to me it does not have any attraction..this is not my world..so never would like to stay in house like that, sorry to say 😉

  3. We love you Enes and Mikey, but I have never seen so much money and such good craftsmanship used to build such a disfunctional imaginationless bunch of seating areas and small corridors.

  5. This isn't my style. I wonder what the other homes look like and how many country islands are there? I'm not sure I'd want to live or vacation in Dubai. I've read articles and watched videos on YouTube, about how this island paradise may never be completed. So you could be the only people on the island and nothing else gets built. I've done research on that underwater home. The images of the different types of homes with multiple scaled options. There's a problem with salt water eroding the glass and the glass has a permameant foggy window. ill check out the video Enes, is posting to see if they found solutions.

  6. One reason I could live in Dubai very easily is that it's very safe.
I wouldn't have any qualms at all about it getting broken into…or worse being woken in the middle of the night by intruders.
Especially love the huge bath, round bed, outside areas with that view of this property.
    Great find Enes.

  7. Nice video! Btw, if you want to reduce/stop wind noise, get a furry wind sock for your lavaliere microphone. They are well worth the investment. Never settle for mediocre sound, you always want the best! Best wishes, success and keep up the awesome videos! 👍

  8. Enes, don't use the | in front of the number of rooms and pricing… looks like 17 bedroom, 18 1/2 bathrooms, and 122,000 sq ft. of interior space.

  9. Great tour and info, thanks, guys! I'm not sure I'd want to live in Dubai as it's pretty much all man-made (apart from the sand) so if technology starts to fail it's probably one of the most vulnerable places on earth. I have friends working out there and they love it, great living standards but it's mega hot, pretty much all their entertainment options are indoors.

  10. As a guy from the Swedish west coast I (as many others) feel the building in general has very little in the way of Swedish vibes, even the repeated used of the diamond motifs and gold details is something very absent in pretty much all Scandinavian classical architecture.

As for the snow-room, it immediately brought my mind to Finish Sauna bathing, where you commonly cool yourself by going outside, rolling in snow or skinny-dipping in a frozen lake (cut open for allowing access). and while this tradition can also be found all over Sweden as it has been adopted, it's not inherently Swedish, and the viking motifs, while nice to look at, would mainly apply to the west coast of Sweden while most of it would have originated from modern day Norway.
The most Swedish thing you can find would likely be the marble used as Sweden has some impressive historical marble quarries along the west coast.

There are lots of Scandinavian influences to be found here but I doubt no-one from Scandinavia would feel at home due to the haphazard mix and strange application and most of all the ugly boat/hat on top of the house, while a longhop could offer resonable protection from bad weather if dismantling the mast and flipping it over, it's more of a temporary shelter rather then architecture…
