Alberta has always got the short end of the stick in terms of Fed. transfer payments always favoring Quebec. Both Trudeau's where hostile towards Alberta. Cutting oil supplies to USA is insane. The pipeline goes to states and loops back under Lake Michigan supplying Ontario and Quebec. Hence, cutting off the pipeline would cut off oil to Canadians as well. Danielle Smith standing up for her province and not giving in to Trudeau and Ford.
I am from a family of narcissists and I have learned a few things about them. When they want to get rid of you they become difficult. They begin making demands for one. Of course the demands and the reasons they want things change minute to minute. Instead of dumping you they play games, watch you try to please them and then they cry victim when you have had enough and just leave. I think Trump is giving Canada the old "I don't need you anymore" and we should just accept it and move on. We can't do anything about it anyways. It is just who they are.

To be honest, i am tried to live here. now i sent cash to my friend in usa. I find out the exchange rate is no longer 1.34 but 1.40 for 1$usd! this is insane and i think after trump inauguration the dollar will go 1.50 and maybe not value anything. we will become like venezuela pesos no value
