The Eaton fire has devastated the Altadena area of Los Angeles, leaving many homes in ruins. Among the affected residents, Felipe Carrillo distinguished himself by refusing to evacuate and instead fighting to save his home using only a garden hose. Global’s Neetu Garcha has the story.
Meanwhile, Canada and Mexico have stepped up to aid in combating the flames threatening Los Angeles. This co-operation comes against a backdrop of heightened political tensions, particularly with the U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s approach, which includes discussions of tariffs and potential “takeovers.” Global’s Nathaniel Dove reports on the significant role Canada is playing in this crisis and the positive diplomatic message it sends amidst the ongoing political strife.
Canada’s top politicians have spent several weeks attempting to convince U.S. president-elect Donald Trump not to impose tariffs on Canadian imports. This includes Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, who visited Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida this past weekend. Global’s Heather Yourex-West looks at what the two discussed and whether Smith’s last-ditch effort will influence Trump, who officially returns to office next week.
And, Elon Musk’s significant influence on U.S. politics is well-documented, particularly regarding his connections with president-elect Donald Trump. However, his engagement in European politics is less recognized and increasingly controversial. Musk has been openly supporting far-right leaders across Europe, leading to a growing backlash from national leaders who are urging him to refrain from interfering in their political affairs. Global’s Vincent McAviney reports.

Completely out of context, what do these fires have to do with the reality that the free world is on a tug of war with China?
China has used and abused both Mexico and Canada in order to circumvent the duties. And the actions to uphold these duties has nothing to do with helping your neighbor… unless neighbors help criminals steal …
Congratulations to this wonderful man fight for his home may GOD bless him and his family

Но как они, познав Бога, не прославили Его, как Бога, и не возблагодарили, но осуетились в умствованиях своих, и омрачилось несмысленное их сердце…
Trump doesn't care about the LA fires or its victims,he just can't wait for his big day to be the president again.
Yes. And it's a known of a fact that in Canada EVERY year around Memorial Day weekend when residents go back to their cabins and use their fireplaces and firepits en masse, that's when forest fire start everywhere.
Every fire chiefs will tell you that the main cause of forest fires is 90% human negligence. YET, as in CA fire prone regions, there's not an OUNCE of prevention being applied ANYWHERE.
Like deploying extra park rangers, fire watchers, banning camp fires etc etc.
How about flying planes dumping water on the regular to keep forest moist?
Transferring water from saturated areas to dry areas, daily, as part of a prevention plan?
And please don't say it's all about not spending money upfront because in the end, the destruction caused by fire is way way way more than prevention would have cost.
Try to make it about trump if you want, everyone knows this fire became a disaster because of failed democratic policy.
"Pick a side: LA 2020s vs LA 2010s"
thats why you need to buy underground bunkers
This is how it should be we are neighbors! Imagen if we came together nobody would stand a chance

The city of Los Angeles in the US state of California is facing devastating wildfires that have led to massive human and material losses. These fires broke out in multiple areas, most notably the “Palisades” fire, which is considered the most destructive in the county’s history, as it burned more than 1,000 buildings and forced more than 130,000 people to evacuate. These natural disasters killed at least five people, destroyed thousands of buildings, and evacuated tens of thousands of residents. It also led to the suspension of many events in Hollywood, including award ceremonies and movie premieres. Despite the technological progress and enormous capabilities possessed by the United States, these fires demonstrated man's powerlessness before the power and will of God Almighty. Strong winds and drought contributed to the rapid spread of the fire, making firefighting efforts difficult and complex. Estimated economic losses amounted to approximately $57 billion. These events remind us of man's weakness and his constant need for God's mercy and care. No matter how powerful and advanced a person is, he remains powerless before the forces of the Creator’s creation. This calls us to contemplate and reflect on God’s power and greatness, and to turn to Him with supplication and request for protection. We ask God to protect us and save us from disasters and tribulations. Yesterday, Trump threatened to burn the Middle East and Gaza if the prisoners were not handed over, and today Los Angeles is burning.. Is there anyone who counts!!?
He's lucky he lived. Saving your house and things, are not worth risking your life, no matter how sentimental your things are. If he had died, I doubt his family would have rather had their things than him.
May GOD bless you all,we are Praying to GOD for all People From INDIA.

But Cali is a third world country.
And now maybe people will see the change thats needed .
Today it's raging fires .
But soon it may be devastating earthquakes that cause 10 times the damage and 100s if not housands of more lives..
Cali and most of the country is not prepared enough ..
And the people who have been in charge the last 4 years have done nothing to get prepared
In fact they did a bunch of things to make this worse than it had to be
We all consider you a hero in your own way .. good on you
that is god's punishment, you have rejected and mocked god, come back to god, god loves you, i love america when they believe in god more than the defeat of hollywood.

Christian usually say that Holly Cross ( which is made by wood) is the one who defeated satan.
Well why they choose that name for starting a film industry? To moke Jesus
Its awesome that you saved the houses, but lets what you said about a third world country is wrong. In fact water comes from the third world country!!! Checkout the Nile
I really hope the fire was not purposely started. Because we are in America. Someone may have started it.
Here in Puerto Rico we had a soap opera star called Milagros Carrillo.
Trump is the best and I just happen to come across this channel you guys stink. I wanna make sure this never comes up in my feet again, but Trump is here to save us and how dare you insult him by talking bad about him he was voted in by 3/4 of the United States of America because we’re sick of people like this channelnot caring about America and the American worker
