Early next year i plan to expand my rural Japan cafe to include rescuing stray cats in my area to turn it into a unique Cat Cafe. Any help is very much appreciated.

5m jpy seems quite cheap.
I liked this video, it was encouraging. I mentioned this in another video but there are several Visa options, even JET. People are doing remote work and living in Japan now so it is more possible than ever to get a visa. Even more so to get perm visa if you think outside of the box and work hard. I've been trying to save for 20 years now and bad luck, loss, and depression were holding me back, but I'm not giving up.
The part the resonates is where you talk about delivering pizza as a second job to get what you want. There are those that will say they can do something, those that blame everyone else and those that actually do things. You can't just jump into everything, some things need to be manifested.
"Most people spend 30 hrs a week watching dross". Very true Sir ))
This change will actually be exactly what I wanted. Perfect to be precise
Japan isn’t going to die, it’ll change for sure. I’ve had a few ideas of things I could do if we were to live long term in Japan but I’d be lucky enough to get in with a partner visa. The peculiarities of Japan are what make it special. Nothing wrong with doing a delivery job, even if you don’t really understand the language google maps will help 😂
The visa cost is high, but they don't just want any half hearted Jo/e`s showing up, then leaving a mess and money owing when they disappear because the going got tough. YOU have to be prepared to invest and dig in until you make it.
Thanks for another good video. I tend to agree with what you have said and I can see why the Japanese government have set it all up they way they have.
The reality for me…and I would think many like me is that some of us are simply NOT business people…not entrapreneurs!! Its not a skill we can all have. I am skilled as an engineer as well as other connected areas. I couldnt imagine what business I could start…at home in Australia…let alone in Japan.
So…whilst I do think you are right., I dont know if starting a business is right for me.
I am happy to learn though…if you or anyone thinks Im wrong.
I thought it was 5M yen for the business manager visa and for startup you just need to prove that you are able to support yourself while living in Japan, while also having a good business plan. Can you clarify this a bit more? Thanks! (edit: after reading the article I believe I am right. if you read that article again you will see that it says 5M is only required for the business manager, not the startup visa which is more relaxed. great video anyways, just wanted to point this out for you and everyone else watching)
I was thinking about going back to Japan, I spent my childhood there and I'm thinking about working in the agricultural sector in Japan, but I don't know if it's a good idea. I learned a lot about this area in Brazil
It's just funny to me that my japanese grandfather in the countryside once told me to ditch the japanese passport when I grew up and adopt my european passport because he said that "Japan is done" but me back than at 10yr old had this feeling that the situation in Japan might improve… Man how right I was.
It seems like there might soon be a lot of opportunity for someone renovating places in order to sell to all the new business/homebuyers. Someone who can speak both Japanese and English who could do the renovation work themselves, and also function as intermediary for the buyers. Does this seem like a reasonable supposition?
So for some reason mate youtube unsubscribe me from you. When i tried looking you up again i couldnt find you. It was as if youtube was hiding you from me. So now im glad that youre showing up in my recommendations again. Cheers legend.
Is it true the new visa is only for up to 30 year olds? If true would seem to bein
I love Nagano! That's where Please Teacher 2002 and Please Twins 2003 take place.
I can't wait to find out much more information about this. That's a large amount for the startup visa. Can I use that for being self-employed in Japan? I generally have this Youtube channel and a movie/gaming review website, so I'd be doing those, as well as making content on Youtube.
Also, what happens when you get to the end of the 2 years. Do they just kick you out? How do you get to stay there, after doing the startup for 2 years? Or am I right in thinking that as long as you can prove your business is viable, you get to stay?
And I've seen a couple of the house cleaning videos you mention. I ended up watching them, rather than cleaning my OWN house! 😬
Im about to come over on a student visa but i want to use some of the time trying to explore the rural regions of Japan and see if theres any opportunities. Im just kind of lost on what i should be looking for. Never been self employed before.
Ideally i wish i could find a remote job in my industry from my home country and just live in Japan so that i benefit from the higher wages.
I wasn't familiar with the Benton's, I just found their channel and will have a browse.
lol I like the heavy handed banning
95% of the content on YouTube is appealing to web fantasies about Japan giving away empty houses. I lived in Japan 5 years and my wife is Japanese. We plan on moving back and living the rural or suburban life. I look forward to setting up a Huli Huli chicken shop in my rural town.
Yeah it's true that we have to be careful what kind of intake we take on youtube. I have a time limit set on my phone for youtube, and I don't use any social media.
Man, road noise was too much on this one, can barely understand you
"brainrot channels" lol I like that description
