I'm sorry that was terrible, but either way the human naming convention may not be the best, but it does make sense in this case "ring worm" is a skin condition that when it becomes visible looks like a worm in a worm wrapping around in a ring position thus the name, though it is understandable why people would confuse it for a parasite it does sound like one…. I don't have anything else to say so end of log
