That was incredible, what a riveting edge of your seat action packed ride with characters that you both love and hate. This would be the best movie ever made if someone could do it justice and make it right. I know that I just watched one in my minds eye for the last 2 hours throughout the reading. My plan was to fall asleep listening, but now at the end I am totally "jacked" up from this awesome reading of First Hunt. This guy Declan Caine makes the Clint Eastwood western characters look like wimps, and I like the Eastwood characters but Caine is on a whole different level of badass.
Wow, this is a great!!! Can't wit for next Sunday. Makes me want to take my Old Army cap and ball pistol out and shoot it again. It has been too long. She is a real tack driver. Most of my buddies used Crisco to seal the cylinders and they all had chain fires when the revolvers got hot from too much shooting. I used bees wax sold as bowstring wax and it never melted so my old army never had a chain fire. Thankfully only 5 of 6 cylinders went off simultaneously so their guns never blew up. I assume if the bottom cylinder went off that's what would happen. They eventually all switched to bees wax for deeling the cylinders after loading them. LoL

Loving this story. I usually play solitaire while listening but 2:41:47 found myself not playing cuz it was so intense. Dang it I have to wait a week, but with the deep freeze coming it'll be good to curl up in bed to listen to it, and I sure look forward to it!
