In an intense battle in Raleigh, the North Carolina Tar Heels came away with a big 63-61 win over the NC State Wolfpack. With the game tied at 61 with less than 30 seconds remaining. Elliot Cadeau calmly found Jalen Washington who didn’t waste any time before turning to dunk for the go-ahead score. Moments later NC State’s Jayden Taylor drove the lane, but Washington was there for the big-time block. Ian Jackson led all scorers in the game with 21 points on 8-15 shooting, surpassing 20 points for the 5th time in his last 6 games. Marcus Hill led the Wolfpack with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals in the loss.

Carolina won and that's all that matters but they beat a mediocre team at best. California is next the Stanford. What a nice way to be 6-1 in conference play. I hope it happens.
6-1 is 6-1

I’m not use to my Tar Heels playing like this, but a win is a win. Hopefully they can go on a run on the way to the tournament
Dumb execution at the end on NC State. Hill should’ve had the ball in his hand with 12 seconds on the clock in both those last two possessions. He scores the last 6 points. That’s the difference between NBA coaches and college coaches. An NBA coach knows to get the ball to his star player in those crunch time situations.
