  1. Charlie Farrell had a fair recognition for his TV work in the 1950s. If I recall correctly, he played the father character in a show titled My Little Margie, which was one of the most popular shows in the mid to late 1950s. I was ten or so at the time, but I recognized him immediately.

  2. I couldn't absolutely swear to it, but I recall reading that Robert Taylor's over thirty years under contract to the same studio (MGM) is a record. By the way, he's seen here in a couple of clips from "Escape" and "Her carboard lover" with the great Norma Shearer (two of Miss Shearer's last three films.)
