Trump sentenced in hush money case

Trump has been spared jail time and given an unconditional discharge for trying to hide hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels to cover up their alleged affair. The 78-year-old learned his fate in the New York Supreme Court just 10 days before his second presidential inauguration. The president-elect, who will be the first convicted felon in the White House, appeared remotely on a court TV screen for his sentencing.

  1. No this just shows how broken our system is. If anyone if us did that we would be in prison but money and political influence still holds the cards. Also a judge can choose when to impose the sentence so he could of said 2 years in prison to be served in February 2029

  2. Itโ€™s funny how the blabba-mouth paid to say nothing gets to keep the money, run her mouth off and totally avoid prosecution. Unbelievable. What American needs is a new president who may be able to address some of these inconsistencies and clamp down on toxic femininity. That includes extremely severe penalties for false accusations.

  3. This case will be a one for the note book. Does this mean his conviction earlier in the year still stand but he doesn't have to serve any time or pay a fine? Let's see who's next and of they pull off the same stunt.

  5. Well that's a silly decision.

I understand why despite being found guilty, he isn't serving time but the entire fiasco makes a mockery of the justice system and demonstrates in reality the states that originally attempted to prevent orangeman from running were correct to do so.

Right now you've got folk in prison for the same crimes, who have no vote.

With a convicted felon about to take the highest office. What a silly state of affairs and a mockery of the presidency.
