A lonely research station in the far north conducts it’s daily activities. The low howling wind between mountain peaks hums along as random gusts blow past the structures. And within it all, the radio chatter is distorted from low signal strength. The need to tune the malfunctioning transmitter is pushed to a point of desperation as someone, or something, is trying to make contact with the handful of occupants stranded in a cold and lonely wasteland.
