one month is no time in game development. this isnt about fixing or polishing. theyre afraid of MH: Wilds. and they should be.
When you already delayed your game, multiple times, by months and months, the investors are going to be very angry and demand their money. So the publisher will be screaming at the developers to release the game already.. which is what happened to Cyberpunk. A lose-lose scenario, and in the end, everyone lost. As of Ubisoft, guess they just decided not to go up against FF7 Rebirth, KCD2, Monster Hunter Wild and Yakuza Pirates..
How are they dragging their heels so bad. Remove the black guy. It’s that fucking simple
Pre order now and get the exclusive George Floyd skin.
so – i am not an assassin's player at all. i am relatively new to gaming overall and the sneak/quiet style has not been my forte. but watching the initial trailers for this game had me laughing legit so hard imaging this giant dude "sneaking" around: he towers over every other person hahahahaha. then watching him decimate all these japanese characters was just icing lol. this game just looks silly lol
and THEN they release it on the date of Tokyo subway sarin attack in 1995. one of the worst attack in Japan.
Those consultant they pay clearly cares a lot about Japanesse culture ….
Assassin's C00n – Shadows 🐒🍌
Man, I remember when AC games were NEVER delayed, even when they should have been (Unity).
I believe Ubisoft knows this is going to tank hard and are just trying to put off the pain.
I think if the game were already "finished" they would quietly shelve it and eat the loss. It is too high profile now. They will release it and will just take whatever they can get for it.
Second delay shows just how bad the environment is at Ubisoft. And the gameplay we got was horrible.
Must be a right pain changing the main character from black to oriental…..
Who'd have thought it, making the central character black instead of Japanese and set in a time and place where no-one had seen a black man before would be a massive fk up!😂
I don’t want a white guy playing black panther, I don’t want a black dude playing a samurai.
Let’s be real. Imagine if the protagonist of GTA San Andreas was a white guy from the suburb.😂
Just remove that black gay
How much delay would changing the protagonist cause ?
At this point, it seems like they're going to shelf it😂😂😂
Stop exaggerating Ubisoft’s situation. They are doing very well.
I don't like that it's not a Japanese Samurai but I still gonna play this game. I played all AC games and I like them, some are better than others of course. I'm not gonna pay full price though, I will wait untill it's for sale somewhere for about €30,- or I'll buy it second hand from someone.
Thank you for not making him Japanese and telling a great story of a man in another culture other than his. I can't wait Ubisoft, it's going to be great!
Look up the new release date and see if that date has any relevance in Japanese history.
While I am bummed that I can’t play this next month hopefully all these delays mean it’ll be the first ac game released in over a decade that actually works when they release it
