  1. Love all these guys, but i have to bring this up. So major RNG is fine when you guys say it is? Patching stuff out is okay if you say so but not when Treyarch does it on their own? (this is not including the 3 month later patches to the shock charge skip). You have a massive RNG map like Shadows that you all have GRINDED, and that mess of an RNG map is alright? Idk seems a bit strange to me that you hammer Treyarch for patching certain speed running/RNG tricks but not others? It's almost like you are contradicting yourselves asking for RNG to be patched, but if it's a certain way or something…don't patch it?

  2. Speedrunning a live service game and then complaining when the bugs you were using were patched is just insane.
    There’s a reason why many speedrunning community play on old patches of games but theses are not live service

  3. I think calling reasonable non game breaking glitches “speed run tricks” is a really healthy step forward. From just the few game/maps I’ve made within other games and stuff, I spent so much time tediously putting it together, spending so much time in the back end of the game, being someone who knew every pixel and every plane of that map I would be mind blown and honored if someone found something about it and was able to do my game better and know about my game better than I did. I’ve also been on the other side of this scenario when I met and hung out with the map creator for a vr chat map I created a speed running community in, and it was wild to show things to the creator of this place I knew so deeply that he didn’t even know about himself. It’s such a bonding experience between the creator and consumer. I was also able to voice to him the bugs we genuinely find annoying like, the teleported could be buggy sometimes and tp u out of the map and ruin a run, but also inform him of the un intended things that we did enjoy like being able to fly with the grappling hooks if u grapple onto urself, and how it dosnt effect runs because it’s ur reward for beating the game so, by the time u get them the games over and u just sandbox.

  4. What’s crazy is I was just playing Terminus EE for fun with a friend the day before the shock charge skip, and we were having a debate over both whether they WOULD fix it, and if they SHOULD fix it.

    We both agreed they shouldn’t fix it, and then the patch notes came out next day and I was like “Damn, oh well”

  5. I like that there is a page skip because I usually play games with randoms, once someone shoots the wall once it messes up the whole order and it’s hard to find out once you’re back at the start of the combination

  6. IMO any skip a game has can and should be used by the speedrunner. When Treyarch patches a skip is and a speedrunner justifys it because it skips too much of an easter egg, that just sounds so ignorant to me. Also why does Treyarch do patches to aimed at speedrunners anyway its such a niche community unless its to fix mistakes, like instant easter egg completion type stuff, they should leave it the way it was from release not all glitches/bugs ruin a game. This comment is just for the first 10-20 mins of the vid.

  7. Old speed runs were 40minutes long and after a patch, they could optimize other places.

    These Easter eggs have dark ops challenges to do them in under 30minutes and they are the easiest, shortest and debatably worst Easter eggs of all time. Aside from the boss fights, these Easter eggs lack in difficulty, flavor, lore, time to complete and without speed runs take under 30mins.

  8. I cant think of a single feature besides augments that is better on this cod than games we we're getting 10+ years ago. Everything from high rounds, speed-runs to casual play is just less fun and a lower standard of quality overall on Bo6. Simple stuff like solo play is broken, numerous core glitches that ruin the little fun your able to gather through sheer force, I didn't even purchase the game directly but I regret heavily the £20 spent on gamepass, can't imagine how people who actually bought the game feel like.
