UK's biggest ever dinosaur footprint site found in Oxfordshire quarry

Around 200 footprints, made 166 million years ago by several different dinosaurs have been uncovered and are providing scientists new insights into what life was like during jurassic Britain.

Several criss-crossing trackways were discovered. Some of which were thought to be made by the long-necked dinosaurs called Cetiosaurus, while others were thought to be from a carnivorous Megalosaurus.

Casts made from some of the footprints are being stored at the Museum of Natural History.

  1. Will the global warming theorist explain why and how Britain was very hot and tropical 166 million years ago…and not a factory or car in sight!
Global warming and freezing is a natural phenomena, eventually humans will become extinct, as most creatures have over time, it's normal…STOP making excuses and turning it into politics or trying to score points.

  2. 166 million years lol…utter rubbish of course, given erosion etc….and the prints perfectly preserved, due to a global flood….animals running for cover because of Gods judgment on the earth, and their footprints forever indelibly preserved by a quick burial…thats the truth!

  3. Why is it, that News media always have these intrusive banners that takes away all the attention? I got so darn distracted, that i wasn't able to view this video.

  4. Why are people so surprised I bet there’s millions of undiscovered things here . For instance in Scotland scientists have dated rock formations at 3 billion years old so I’m guessing England & Wales & Scotland has plenty little hidden gems tucked away just waiting to be discovered.
