Ummm rocks are easy to acquire but yes Lodestone will be the bottleneck for sure.

when you say you need X amount, remember you're looking at static numbers when in reality you should be factoring in the reagent boost etc, you'll actually make the numbers look appealing

the best time to sell "item" is when people make videos saying "item" will be needed in the future. If you wait to sell till the patch you are a fool. If you buy it rather than farm it, you are the food not the feeder.
