  2. So I got Stardew Valley back in September, but I have been having a hard time getting into it. The game is confusing to me, like what I'm supposed to do/can do. I also struggle with the game mechanics. I really want to enjoy it, so if anyone has tips, advice, or anything helpful, please let me know.

Also I am very excited and need to share that I got the DAL LEGO set over the holidays and built it today! EEEEE! 😄

  3. You should look into Snufkin & Moomintroll. It’s a little puzzle game and it’s so cute that’s based off of an old legend. Plus Sigur Ros did the music. It’s only $15 atm and there are 2 DLCs.

  5. Thank you for your list, I have been considering Sun Haven for awhile but I just haven’t yet! I started Disney Dreamlight Valley but I haven’t been back to it in a while! Thanks for the reminder 😊 I’m so glad you included Tiny Bookshelf…I played the demo and I was hooked! Thank you again for all the wonderful games on your list!

  6. I think some other good "cozy" games (at least for me they're super cozy) are dredge and pacific drive. Dredge is a fishing game, where you travel the ocean via your boat. You upgrade your boat, catch different fish, discover new islands, do quests. The twist to the game is the lovecraftian horror element. Time only progresses when you move, fish, or dredge items. At night, monsters (fish monsters) start to appear, and there's a sanity meter that will gradually get worse the more time you spend awake at night, but you can help lessen it with better light upgrades to your boat. There's a passive mode option though to eliminate the horror element. It's not this really scary game because there's no jumpscares, but the lovecraftian element to it really sells it, because there's not many fishing games with a horror twist to it.
Pacific drive is a car driving game. It's not this mindless car driving game though. It's a game with sci-fi supernatural elements. The objective of the game is to survive the world that will absolutely destroy you and your car if you're not careful. Upgrading your car is an absolute must as it is your "friend", and your shield from the elements of the Olympic exclusion zone. I don't play car games at all, but this game has me HOOKED. I LOVE it, it's easily one of the best games I've played in recent years. Despite the survival elements, there's something so relaxing about driving your car in this sci-fi otherwordly place, searching for resources, and upgrading your car. I absolutely recommend this game, it's so worth it.

  7. So many great games! I definitely want to get Sun Haven and Coral Island this year. Looking forward to Fields of Mistria fully coming out.

Highly recommend Infinity Nikki. It does have gatcha, but it's a solidly-built game that you can play for free and get through the story without paying anything. It's so beautiful!

I loved Ooblets and Wylde Flowers. Those two set the standard for what I look for in cozy games now.
