  1. Illegal fireworks have been an issue since the Covid lockdown ended. Complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Now authorities want to crack down on them. It’s like closing the barn doors after the horses have already gotten out. It’s Straight Stupidity! This could’ve been avoided! 🤦🏽‍♀️

  2. My friend got hurt and had to go to the hospital for burns by a rouge firework from the neighbor, they were doing a bunch of fireworks on their lawn, and they didn't even bother to come over to apologize and check on him. People who do these types of fireworks are simply a bunch of morons.

  3. ONCE AGAIN THE POLITICIANS HAVE FAILED THE PEOPLE WITH THEIR RIDICULOUS LENIENCY TOWARD CRIMINALS AND ILLEGAL ACTS. TRAFFICING IN AND POSSESION OF DANGEROUS EXPLOSIVE FIREWORKS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE A FELONY LONG AGO. FIND OUT WHICH POLITICIANS ARE MAKING MONEY OFF THIS, AND YOU WILL FIND WHERE THE REAL GUILT LIES

  4. Back in da day, we neva had all these big fireworks. we all have fire crackers and all da little fireworks and that was it. We need to go back to that. Id rather get rid of all of that then to have more people get hurt. Anyways, wishing a safe recovery to all those who were injured and everyone affected aloha, jah bless

  5. So what I'm gathering from what little I've heard, is that someone from that residence lit some fireworks outside of the garage but part of it flew into the garage where the enormous stash of unlit fireworks were & caused everything to blow up at once..am I right? I heard that a 3 yo was flown to the mainland, as well as a few adults. Praying for all, especially the kids. 🙏 💔

  6. Yes, stupid people don't realize those explosives are explosives, or did they think about stuff like a wildfire burned up Maui or that maybe some people are more in need than your $10,000 in fireworks? For your play

  7. Why do people think the people who struggle paycheck to paycheck to take care of their family is buy these fireworks unless they are all chipping in because each one of those fireworks displays that last from 20 to 30 minutes cost in the range of $10,000.00 or more. It's more the one that well off have a great pay job and have income from rental homes or big side jobs. Maybe they should do a study of how much alcohol is purchase before New year Eve I pretty sure it a lot. United States during the holidays. For instance, nearly 47% of men and 40% of women admitted to binge drinking on New Year's Eve. United States during the holidays. For instance, nearly 47% of men and 40% of women admitted to So, it's safe to say that New Year's Eve in Hawaii likely follows this trend, with many people enjoying their favorite drinks to ring in the new year. Just say the main factor could have been cause by alcohol binge drinking while handle dangerous firework during New Year's Eve.

  8. HAWAII LAWMAKERS MUST pass accept and introduce law proposals in making firecrackers SET TO A ONLY DESIGNATED AREA AWAY where those enthusiasts must use. Residential firecrackers SHOULD BE BANNED!! This way these loud dangerous practices will not bother others who don’t like firecrackers and it eliminates the danger it posses to residential areas and the general public!!! Common sense Hawaii!!! Lawmakers can you practice common sense!!?

  9. If one can afford $10k worth of illegal fireworks, perhaps one should cover for their own demise. One guy who is critically injured works as an electrical engineer for Coffman Engineers in Hawaii. Surely, he has employer sponsored health insurance and life insurance policies but his family is asking for donations via gofundme to cover for his “medical costs.”

  10. It looks like the whole pile went off. Set too close to the lighting station? Sounds like no adult supervision was involved. I’m just learning about this so maybe it’s been covered already.

  11. I can't imagine all the severe criminal charges, civil lawsuits, exorbitant hospitals bills, public fines, all the bills & lawsuits from their neighbor's houses & car & medical insurances companies. That family of that house is done for life in all aspect including whatever physical & metal trauma they got.
