One thing I always wonder is how gi hun never recognized the frontman’s voice because he literally talked to gi hun with his mask off before he released him back
I think the parallels between Gi hun and the frontman are very interesting. In season 1, his brother goes to look for him in his apartment and it's a shabby place above a café. And there are letters saying he's behind on rent. So he could've also been suffering survivor's guilt and not spending his money. It's possible he went back to the games to put a stop to them, just like Gi hun…and either gave up on humanity or realized they would never end and became the frontman to make sure they're equal and fair. But I'm still holding up hope he's secretly a good guy trying to take them down from the inside.
