BACKLASH: Assassin's Creed Shadows is FLOPPING. Preorder sales numbers are TERRIBLE

Ubisoft still hasn’t allowed Assassin’s Creed Shadows to be purchased online – not on Steam, Playstation, Xbox or Epic. But it IS available to buy in video game retail stores, and the data that we are getting from some of these stores is absolutely horrible. The game is getting destroyed by Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, pacing very similarly to Dragon Age the Veilguard.

  1. Fun Fact: GameStop pulled out of Germany last week
So they had one final sale that bordered to competing with Steam's pricing
All of their shelves were filled with unsold used copies of Assassin's Creed games in that one and only GameStop they still had inside my town 😉
(I went there on the second-last day before their final closure)

  2. We must remember that a percentage of gamers want an Assassin’s Creed so badly that they’ll buy this AC installment no matter how cringe worthy it sounds. Then they’ll find out how bad the game actually is and will never buy another Assassin Creed game again 😅

  3. God how disappointed I truly am for a series that was once so peak back in the day to now being nothing but progressive crap being shoved down our throats expecting us to like it. Well sorry not sorry Ubisoft but what goes around comes around, karma

  4. To be fair, you still can’t preorder the game on the PlayStation Store. You can “wishlist” it but it doesn’t allow you to preorder it yet. Crazy to think that a company eff’d up an Assassins Creed game so bad that a month before it’s scheduled to be released and it can’t be preordered. I’m comfortable not owning their games. It would seem they are FINALLY comfortable not selling them as well.

  5. You make such a good point at the end of the video.

This game would have sold millions if they didn't pander to the modern audience…
Why do they chose to sabotage sales for the sake of an agenda… its wild…

  6. a political message in a game can get across if it's done well, bioshock is an excellent example, but a foreigner killing Japanese people is not a political message, it's just an insult to an entire country. And after Ubisoft ask why the game dont sell well.

  7. Im not about to buy a game from a company who puts out garbage and then banks on doing the bare minimum to fix bugs and issues as months go on when they’re about to go out of business. Thats like buying a car without wheels and seats, them going out of business and finding out they use proprietary wheels and seats after.
