This Watch Can't Be Serious!

Let’s have some fun! This hobby is always so serious, so I thought we’d take a look at a few watches from the lighter side of things. In this video, I won’t tell you what to buy, what’s good, what’s bad or any other opinions. We will just have some fun checking out two cool watches!

Check us out online at: https://www.LongIslandWatch.com

Thanks for watching!

  1. I picked up the Spinnaker x Spongebob Work/No Work. full lume sandwich dial, and they removed the date and put the hour hand onto the gmt axel so you get a 24 hr dateless jumping hour watch.

  2. Mr Jones Watches designs are so creative and so much fun, but i hope they change the lugs shape, those lugs take away from the overall design of the watch.
Nevertheless they are great watches and have some very nice offerings. 👍👍

  3. I think I first saw Mr. Jones like 5 or 6 years ago. Totally agree. Very fun. I was looking into 01 the One and other alternative style time telling and Mr Jones came up. (Maybe this was 8 years ago?) Anyway. They're really cool

  4. Fun watches and a great video! Crazy to think that you would buy a $1400 watch for “fun” and then “forget about it” for a couple of months😂. That CW is probably 3x the cost of my most expensive watch.

But then, my spendiest watch is probably an Islander😂.

    Happy New Year, Marc!

  5. I love these concepts, in fact, if I didn't just buy a watch then I would have gotten the desk diver. I also find Mr Jones watches really cool as well. I feel like one of these days I need to acquire one as well 🙂

  6. I totally agree that a person should wear the watch they like. I wear everything from Timex to Omega and love them all. My brother sneers when I buy a Lorus or other inexpensive watch but I don’t care. As long as I like the watch and can read the dial. I have several cartoon watches where the picture is animated and that is just cool. The newest addition to my Omega collection is on the way. It is the Marstimer X-33 which will be standard equipment on the mars missions.

  7. A "seriously" fun pair of watches here, but the standout for me is the Desk Diver, which I got to see at the Wind-Up FairI I love that watch, and was rather surprised at the rather hostile reception it appeared to receive from some quarters of the Interverse where humor is apparently not tolerated in regard to dive watches. As usual, cool presentation, Marc.

  8. Fun watches for sure- I own the CW DD and another reference of MJW (Enjoy the Ride) and both are fantastic and fun watches!

By the way, I don't know how you do it all together Mark, run such a big business like LIW & Islander, a YT Channel and take time to reply to viewers and watch enthusiasts, always a pleasure and Kudos to you!
