I have to say the linens in that store were really mixed up. I don’t like the goodwill by me but I have to say this who ever does the linen department does a very good job. All the flat sheets are together. All the fitted sheets are together all the blankets are together. All the pillowcases are together and so on it’s divided very well. That’s my go to for pillowcases when I need them. Especially the longer ones for the my pillows that we have.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. On those leather shoes I glue everything I love e6000. It is the best glue ever.
The cake plate w/cover was adorable. If you have a cake on the plate it covers the plate anyway and can’t see the design. 😉. Seriously, I have a dish problem!! 😂

Happy New Year! After 20 years of dogs with firework terrors, it has become a habit to stay home for New Year's Eve. Fortunately, our current dog is not terrified of fireworks, but that just means we go to bed, wake up briefly when the fireworks go off to wish everyone Happy New Year and go back to sleep.😂 1st Longaberger basket is a tulip basket. I only know that because I had bought one and needed to look it up to list it. ❤

New years eve, we have a large group of people friends, who get together and play euchre. We always have a crowd, and lots of food and drinks. Of course I haven't drank in years, but the younger one's do.

60s and Ohio here too. We still go out, but early before the madness starts. We usually go to one of our favorite casual places, grab a good burger, take some home to our dog, Lucy, pick out a movie and snuggle. At midnight, I open the front door to let out the old air, let in fresh air, and bang an old iron pot with a rubber spoon to welcome the new year! Then some TV, then off to bed. The kooks in my area sometimes shoot guns at midnight!

Here in Michigan it all depends on the weather if we're staying in or going out on New Years Eve. Lately it's been about half n' half. To be safe if we do go out we're home before midnight.
