There is hardly any country that won't become better from having a smaller population. Property prices will go down, salaries will go up, the wellfare system will break down, incenties will thus increase for getting more kids again. It is no wonder no one wants children when young people are taxed to death and owing a house is not even possible for any younger couple. Who wants to raise their child in monolithic soviet inspired apartment complexes while working 7-8 months of the year for the state? When one salary can provide for one family again then it will shift back.
The risk is of course that the older generations will push for more and more taxes and act as (even worse) vampires on the young than they already are. Immigration will likely end though when the older generations realise the immigrants are here to take the money they expect for retirement, not here to wipe their behinds.

The end of our World
I came from one of five. I have two children, my has two and one of my brothers has two. One brother has one. And one brother has none. We having to care for my brother with none. I know my kids will help care for me.
These young adults today that don’t want children, is it because you don’t want to have them? There are children who need to be adopted. I just don’t get it.
I sometimes think that, as it has been said that there are too many people in the world so, if presently there are not enough births to substitute the previous generations completely, for a time, yes, there will many old people and few young but, as the old die, the proportion changes and gets more balanced, with a decrease in population numbers, which is supposed to be desirable. This in the so called western world (civilised).
The bigger problem in my point of view, is the constant overpopulation of underdeveloped countries, where people reproduce like rabbits, not caring about the conditions for taking care and educating their children.
This results in a surplus of non educated people with no values as ours, no education, no manners, different cultures and many of them are being poured into European countries, in what is becoming an unacceptable population replacement.
This is serious. Savage immigration must be stopped, and our cultural heritage and identity must be maintained or reconstructed, as it has suffered injuries. We have the right to prevail. And excess population in underdeveloped countries should be controlled. If those countries can’t support their peoples, it’s not up to us to do it, they must reduce their population to affordable quantities.

One wonders how many children Bull has??? In the West marriage is a curse since Feminism has taken over women's agendas. No fault divorce and a Family Court System in which a man loses 50% of his asset and has to support a woman for life after 3 years and is awarded custody in 90% o the cases and pre-nups are not valid makes one wonder why Bull does not state the obvious.
Only way I think things have a chance of changing for the better is if some cataclysmic event happens that will force major cultural changes.
I know many people who didn't/don't want to have children because people are so selfish and mean today. Who wants to go to a baseball game where your kid are yelled at by the other parents?
Although I think the world is over populated. And I mean in 220 years since 1804 when we had 1 billion people worldwide we have multiplied that by over 8, which is massive considering the thousands of years we've been about. Sure in the short term, it might be painful the for the population to contract. But for the population to have continued growing on the trajectory of the past 220 years (say in the year 2244 there is a population of 68 billion) it would end up more people depleting fewer and fewer resources, as we have not achieved off world colonization yet. IMHO governments should not try to engineer population figures because it always ends in disaster with unforeseen consequences, it's over reach (China's 1 child policy disaster, cloning, eugenics, breeding farms and so on). But if they did I guess banning contraception would be the most effective, combating the Incel culture and enabling women to have children earlier without detriment to a career, also not allowing people to live in houses with more bedrooms than it's population.

It turns out humans need a purpose and belief in a future, if you want them to have children. They need space and freedom and hope. If the only future you offer them is hopeless, gray, soulless cities and cramped wagecages with no hope of accomplishment, they will give up.
