Best New World MMO Weapons playstyle guide. With various weapon pairings, tier lists, builds, synergies & combos pvp & pve can be complex in Amazon’s New World Game. As far as Melee / Ranged DPS, Tanks and Healers play style goes it depends on which weapons work together best. This New World beginner guide will cover the different playstyle of the weapons and help give players a bit of an idea as to which type of weapon will suit them! I am struggling between Sword/Warhammer and Sword/Greataxe not sure which one I'll pick in the end.
From your gameplay:
I highly advice you and other people to sort your inventory by gearscore (the star). It's so much easier to see if you found an upgrade or sort out the trash, when it shows the gear score instead of hovering over each and every item to see it stats.
Musket, and spear.

last beta I went sword and board + lifestaff. Kind of paladinish. Its probably what I will go for launch because I like to tank. This beta I am probably just going to mess around with all the weapons to see if I like anything else.
Spear and Bow I think suits me best. Maybe Respec into a mage late game
I always liked play bow in mmorpg and i'm also pretty good at aiming, but damn i'm really scared at how the fps are going to influence my game 🙁 Let's hope to get at least 50 fps and not many drops

I fell in love with the Bow. I have to say that i really enjoy playing solo in the open world. Discovering stuff and hunting for leather. The bow is a bit week in the early game, but you can build a nice Headshot build, with that gem 30% more DMG to mobs with 100% life. Normal mobs of the same level are mostly 1 hit or 2 hit. It made o lot of fun. I reached level 45 in the beta and got 3800 headshot crits with a green bow. Cant wait to get that Warpwood bow for 60. Ulti is also nice… getting arrows back, when you headshot. There are perks with the same effect on bags for example. I have seen that rapidshot costs 1 Arrow, but each of the 3 hits can trigger the effect of getting an arrow back.
Second weapon is the Rapier for me. Its just awesome. I played the pve build, that you mentioned in the video. Flurry is sick … you can skill cd reduction on every hit. If you hit multiple targets you can spam this talent without cooldown. In the other tree is a talent that restores 3 energy on hit. this also counts for flurry hits. Flurry also does a good amount of block damage, so mobs with a shield are very easy to handle.

Hmm, lifestaff + ice gauntlet for expeditions and war. Sword/Shield + Warhammer for questing for me. If I get time to level more weapons, I'd like to try out bow + rapier. I loved bow in Preview but I never ever tried rapier before.
I wish they wouldnt pigeonhole the sword and shield into being a tank setup. God forbid i want to dps with a one handed sword and have a little bit of blocking and attacking ability with my shield. Hopefully they balance it to where the sword and shield is a little bit more on par with the other dps weapons. At the moment dps isnt to bad, but hopefully they dont just keep widening the gap.
Daggers if they get some stealth mechanics.
