ABC I wish you all would stop putting in late breaking when the news of President Carter's passing was earlier this morning not 630 in the evening early this morning you do this every time you come on the air it's always late breaking know it's not late-breaking means having 10 minutes ago or an hour ago something that happened 8 hours ago is not late-breaking you are not the only news source in the world anymore CNN CBS NBC MSNBC there's Reuters there's some Scripps news so ABC you are not the only News company putting out news so stop saying late-breaking when it's not late breaking it's so irritating

  39. We became a nation mindful of the importance of our energy use, not from a macroeconomic aspect, but from a microeconomic aspect. He actually told us we should shut the lights off when we left the room, turn down the heat, and drive 55 mph on the highway. All signs were changed to that speed, someone even wrote a song about it. Our parents never even told us to do that. It was reminiscent of times during WWII, but it was a nonviolent war against a nonviolent enemy. Each citizen had to perform certain acts a certain way for the good of the country. The world was a better place, carbonally, because of his leadership. He didn’t just TALK about it, he DID it. He walked the talk.
