Brawl Stars: Holiday Feast – Rocco, Street Chef Historic Brawl

Let them eat cake.

This was supposed to be the Christmas episode, but I got sick and had four days between making the deck and recording it, which meant I got to go hard on making it as fun as possible to play while I was stuck in bed all week. Enjoy!

  1. Nice, I hope for the others gods of Theros ( Ephara, Kruphix etc ) and the legendary dragons from Takir (Dromoka, Silumgar, Kolaghan, Ojutai, Atarka) in next brawl videos, cool to have on Arena the commanders from the last decade πŸ™‚

  2. That priority glitch in the heliod game has happened to me before, I was playing against a Kozilek, I went to combat with an empty hand and it just skipped my whole turn while I had lethal I was livid lol. I'm glad your glitch didn't cost you the game!

  3. I'm so glad you beat that Heliod deck. I find that playstyle very frustrating to play against – it just keeps going and going like Yorian stuff. Call me a scrub, but I'll concede to it just to save myself time and frustration.

Hope you feel better, soon <3

  4. Basking Broodscale is one of my favourite cards. It goes infinite with so many things. Love it in my Kudo deck where with either Cathar's Crusade or Kudo + Ayula you get to make infinite 2/2 tokens.

  5. My Rocco deck is based on casting from exile as much as possible so that I can pump up cheap creatures with lots of keywords, not so much token generation.

swiftblade vindicator and lone rider are 2 cheap bodies that can become huge very quickly.

  6. I'm pretty sure "gains flashback with flashback cost equal to mana cost" means that you can't utilize Flashback and Overload on CRift, as they're both alternate casting costs? It's probably why they waited a moment or two; I would guess they were trying to find where the option to Overload was but Arena was only giving them "cast with Flashback" 1:12:30

  7. I've been playing with Rocco a bit in standard (Kibler posted a Naya Legends deck a few months ago that uses it). It's very good with Annie Joins up – exiling two cards per player, plus getting two counters and two food for each played card from exile just lets your creatures get big fast.
