I wanted Chris Jones. Before this pick the Raiders drafted Joseph who was injured. They seems to draft a lot of injured players. They never work out. They literally drafted for need. If I remember right they might have been after a tackle but could not see the board for what it was. The Raiders play checkers with the draft while everyone else plays chess. They never consider character. I picture their scouts as yes men who worship a bowl cut idol and look for workout warriors and skinny freaks. The Raiders should really ask another team to draft for them.
Even if we would of drafted henry we probably would of traded him away like we did jacobs!

I don’t even care anymore I’m on a stadium tour. Going to every stadium before I die so even if the Raiders suck I’m hitting an away game every year to visit a new stadium 😂 just enjoying football at this point of my life

BUT NO, THE COACH AND OWNER FAILED TO PASS ALONG THAT IMPORTANT BIT OF INFORMATIN TO THE PLAYERS. SOMETIMES LOSING THE BATTLE, WILL HELP YOU WIN THE WAR.
What happened to Musgrave? He had offense rolling in 2016 then Del Rio fires him. Why? I liked what Musgrave said, something like, “You don’t always get the players you want so the challenge is to develop an offense for the team you have.” Liked it because too often you see coaches with a system and they have to go get players to fit system. If they don’t get players, system is questioned, coach is fired, new coach comes in with a new system.
I'm hoping for jeanty. A generational RB. With him and our gerational TE ,we have a great offense.
I remember that draft vividly. My friends dad, who is a huge raider fan. Was screaming for them to draft Derrick Henry, so was I. We were so pissed when they didn’t.
I mean, anyone with half a brain knew Henry was going to be the GOAT running back. Never understood why Dion Lewis got sooooooooo much playing time over him in Tennessee……

I remember watching a documentary on Larry Fitzgerald thinking it was destined for him to be a Raider. I jumped in my car turned on the draft on radio and heard Robert Gallery. At that point I knew we were screwed for years to come.

The Raiders biggest problem for the past 40 years has been in the ownership box. Meddling owners that interfere too much and then fire the coach and/or GM when things go wrong. Hiring inept “yes man” coaches that can’t develop their own game plan or the overvalued players that the owner drafted. Nothing short of getting a new owner will turn the Raiders around. Is Joe Lacob looking to buy a football team?

Twenty years of Raiders Drafts. You will notice that the team picking after the Raiders often got a Pro Bowl player Or sometimes future HOF player.
2004 Robert Gallery – Larry Fitzgerald (First Ballot HOF)
2005 Fabian Washington – Aaron Rodgers (First Ballot HOF)… fired Norv Turner
2006 Michael Huff – Donte Whitner both of them were Safeties… Fired Art Shell
2007 JaMarcus Russell – Calvin Johnson (First Ballot HOF), Joe Thomas, LaRon Landry, Adrian Peterson, Patrick Willis, Marshawn Lynch, Darrelle Revis, BUT WE NEEDED A FRANCHISE QB!
2008 Darren McFadden, yes you might have got fired had you not drafted him. But after him went Jonathan Stewart, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte and Rey Rice… Fired Lane Kiffen
2009 Darrius Heyward-Bey, next WR taken was Crabtree both had similar careers.
2010 Rolando McClain – C. J. Spiller Jermaine Gresham, Dez Bryant and Gronk (First Ballot HOF) all went after… Fired Tom Cable
2011 Traded for Richard Seymour… Fired Hue Jackson but not before he traded future picks for his old and broken QB.
2012 Fired coach had traded picks for Carson Palmer. Russell Wilson was a 3rd round pick that year. Had they kept the pick at 17 Melvin Ingram was the next selection.
2013 D. J. Hayden – Sheldon Richardson, Eric Reid (First Ballot HOF) was still available… Fired Denis Allen in 2014 but it would not fit down there.
2014 Khalil Mack FINALLY DRAFTED A PRO BOWLER!!!! Then traded him… oh the next two picks are first ballot HoF inductees Jake Matthews and Mike Evans. Oh also Derek Carr…
2015 Amari Cooper pro bowler! The team is on a ROLL!!!!
2016 Karl Joseph the next Safety taken three picks later Keanu Neal he made one Pro Bowl
2017 Gareon Conley the next CB taken three picks later Tre'Davious White two time Pro Bowler. Fire Jack Del Rio after he took the team to the Playoffs and had Carr looking like an MVP.
2018 Kolton Miller this might be a good pick. He could still become a Pro Bowl player. But will it be for the Raiders?
2019 Clelin Ferrell – Devin White was the next guy taken… but with that Mack Money they surely would not waste it on a player they would let walk later… Josh Jacobs. Well Maxx Crosby…
2020 Surely this terrible drafting could not continue…. Henry Ruggs… well shit. Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins were available…
2021 Alex Leatherwood the next OT Christian Darrisaw still with the team that drafted him… Fire Gruden… make the playoffs Fire Bisaccia. Only to hire the worst HC ever.
2022 no one… literally traded away 1sr and 2nd to get Adams to gaslight the fans into thinking it was not a rebuild after the 21 season… the curse of McDummy will last a while…
2023 Tyree Wilson … could have drafted Carter… but noooo… hey they got Tre Tucker and Jakorian Bennett but its time to play FIRE THE HEAD COACH MID SEASON AGAIN!!!!

2025 ??? Last year was a good draft. Bowers should be ORotY but that kid in DC is doing things too… all good picks not reaching. But there are fans out there wanting the team to sell the farm to draft a QB!!! just like back in 2007…will it be a repeat of the same type of draft? Or will The Zig draft the best available and find a QB next year when there will be a dozen of them.

Telesco is a breath of fresh air. as far as Musgrave, the raiders should have kept him. Musgrave's last year with the raiders the offense was ranked 6th the defense was ranked 22nd. we kept the DC Norton and let Musgrave go for an unproven Todd Downing. also, do you remember when we chose Jamarcus Russell. the very next pick was Calvin "Megatron" Johnson.

Telesco can draft. Brady will provide some solid input. Telesco's problem was finding the coaches, where I think Brady will help. The 2 make a good pairing if Brady doesn't fire him.
