Oh my God… sick and twisted. No matter what "religion" or faith you claim to follow, the extremists are psychologically screwed up. Simple.

3. The worldview of ISIS is in line with the fundamental concepts in Islam aka Dar-ul-Islam and Dar-ul-Herb.
ISIS shocked the world with their level of brutality; I still remember that captured Jordanian pilot who was burned alive.
Their extreme implementation of Sharia law; with public whippings, amputations and crucifixions, made even other hardline Muslims gawk in disbelief.
They will be remembered as a sorry footnote in history, along with the likes of the Khmer Rouge, groups which sought some twisted concept of "higher purification" through slaughter.
More worrying was/is the numbers of ISIS 'volunteers' from established democracies and those countries just having no idea what to do with returning islamofacists and their murderous ideals. As an atheist I don't agree with any sect of religion, but only one religion seems to want to kill me for my lack of religious belief.
And yet we're still funding them in Syria. Wonderful.
