2: UI Explanation – Drelliad Village
Ord Mantell
Arriving in-world and on-route for his transfer to the special forces unit, Havoc Squad, Isaac Clarke finds himself unwelcome by the local populace via anti-vehicle munitions.
Given a quick brief of the overall situation, Isaac Clarke is to aid his fellow republic soldiers in locating a missing orbital strike bomb before the separatist forces located on Avilaten Island detonate it and remove the primary republic-friendly spaceport.

In my opinion/experience, the second class for Commando would be Vanguard, especially on groupcontent, which you are frequently doing, as with this pairing you will have tank and healing spec as well, which are also good, and with that you find group much more easy as a tank or healer, especially now, since most of the remaining group are only doing the new encounters bosses. In regular content you will be fine with the aoe dot spec-s in regular spaces and with the burst specs against big enemys. You dont need the operative…

Especially stealth vs stealth is annoying. 😉
Cool
15:37 Operative over Sniper sounds good, up close & personal works well with the Commando who is already a walking tank, plus from a realistic perspective special forces would be given stealth tech for more covert operations.
Edit: 45:27 Thank God. Not that I don't like your streams I do, but as you said streaming leads to interruptions, plus it can also cause on the fly decision making which isn't always a good thing.
Isaac completing his first missions as a Havoc squad now looking for the clue about the bomb there will be even more things to discover
SWTOR: The Oathbreaker Paladin
Part 2
Quite The Welcoming Party
As the shuttle blasted it's way through the battle that raged above the Mid Rim planet of Ord Mantell it was met by it's escort as it breached the atmosphere, the flames that engulfed the hull of the ship mirrored the views of the surface below, fire was everywhere, not a single island was left untouched by the brutal civil conflict that consumed the long standing member world of the Galactic Republic.
Protests and riots had risen up against the local government not long after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, decrying ruthless treatment and ties to organised crime. The entire governmental cabinet was forced to resign in disgrace but even this was not enough to prevent violence. A significant separatist movement made itself explosively known by destroying all major spaceports in an extremely well coordinated and crippling bombing campaign, they violently denounced anyone and everyone who refused to join their cause and called for an immediate Mantellian withdrawal from the Republic.
The shuttle's destination was Avilatan, a small contested volcanic island that was home to Fort Garnik, the focal point of the Republic Military's efforts to stamp out the Mantellian Separatists. The skies above the island were hazardous, as the Republic struggled to maintain air superiority against the separatists who had somehow managed to equip themselves with homing launchers and anti-air cannons. This forced the shuttle carrying our protagonist to land at a small Republic outpost some distance from Drelliad Village, a once very prosperous trading center reduced to mostly rubble by the war.
As the shuttle door swung open, Sergeant Clarke stepped forward, taking a deep breath of fresh air he could smell the smoke and blood on the wind. He looked down the boarding ramp as his fellow soldiers rushed past him, hurrying to unload the precious cargo, at the bottom of the ramp awaiting him was a giant of a man, a lieutenant judging by the markings on his armour. The brute introduced himself as Bex "Gearbox" Kolos, the Havoc engineer and his ride to HQ.
As the APC trudged through the battles being waged all around it, Isaac got to know his squadmate. Gearbox was an OG member of the squad, having served with the others for many years, they were tight-knit and valued the loyalty they held towards one another. Their conversation however was cut short as a missile whistled through the air and slammed into the walker's side, the APC dropped to one leg steadying itself before rising back up onto its feet. The pilot attempted to swing the walker around and pull back but to no avail, another missile simply glided elegantly through the air and exploded half the cockpit, killing one occupant and severely wounding the other.
The enemy fire had come from Drelliad Village, it was supposed to be under Republic control, clearly intel had dropped the ball because secure settlements don't fire rockets at friendly targets. Gearbox let Isaac know that as he was the squad's newest assault specialist it would be up to him to liberate the fallen village, as everyone else in the walker was either dead or not combat trained and he's an engineer so his skills were fixing things, not destroying them.
"You're going to need this." He said with a smile, cracking open one of the crates offloaded from the shuttle and handing him an assault cannon, "perfect for mowing down separatists on a sunny day."
Isaac returned the smile along with a straight backed salute, he was going to enjoy this. Donning his helmet, he picked up the assault cannon and felt it hum to life in his hands, it was eager to deliver retribution, a kindred spirit. Storming down the boarding ramp before it had even finished lowering he leapt the final distance and charged down the hill, the sun glaring off of his armour shrouding him in a blinding glow like an avenging angel.
The separatists were completely taken by surprise, falling like wheat stalks before the hails of energy bolts. They were expecting easy pickings within the walker, soldiers already dead or dying, instead they had gotten Republic special forces, they never even got the chance to regret their mistake.
Securing the village proved to be child's play, though as he destroyed the enemy munitions caches Isaac wondered where the separatists had managed to get their hands on armour piercing missiles, the galactic black market was vast to say the least, you dream it they have it, and according to the briefs, Ord Mantell wasn't exactly law abiding when it came to trade, being quite the location for buyers and purveyors of illegal goods.
After also shutting down the separatist signal jammers they had brought along with them Isaac received a call on his personal holocommunicator. The walker wasn't going anywhere, even Gearbox's magic touch wasn't enough to get the thing moving again, therefore the rest of the journey to Fort Garnik would have to be on foot. Whilst he salvaged the goodies off the wreck and escorted the wounded Isaac was to make his own way to base, the coordinates he received pointed north, fortunately it wasn't much farther, but unfortunately the terrain in-between him and safe haven was rough and hilly, therefore making it a snipers wet dream.
