FIRST LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
Your first mention of the Altar of Xrib has me wondering if you know about the Temple of Xrib, a Dwemer ruin taken over by Falmer, deep at the end of the Sightless Pit. There is a quest, concerning a lost caravan, that starts by reading a book found at the Dark Seducer's camp near Forsaken Cave. It's part of the new material provided with the Anniversary Edition. Within the temple, you'll find a special weapon. Or two, I forget. Who knows what Xrib means… it's one one those inscrutable Dwemer things.
