  1. Happy Holidays, Kali, hope you have a wonderful time with your loved ones! šŸŽ„šŸŽ I can never get tired of watching this movie, even though it's so emotionally draining. Really enjoyed your thoughtful and heartfelt reaction as always!

  2. Omg kaliwali I’ve enjoyed watching (and bawling) with you some of the American classics!

If I may recommend, you should absolutely do reactions to: Braveheart, Gladiator, and Good Will Hunting. All of those are sooooo emotional and beautiful and such a plethora of feelings through the movie. Trust me! Would love to watch more with your excellent reaction videos! Thank you for doing them. No one I know has the same feelings and reactions I do. You 🪨

  3. Great reaction. An amazingly written story. There is something for everyone to learn from this movie around every corner. As hard as it is to watch, it deserves another look, maybe even two looks. Depending on were you are in life, the messages within this movie will impact you in a different way. Beautifully written.

  4. Still have electric chair as an option for execution: Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee. Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma.
The last execution by electrocution in US was in 2020 in Tennessee. –The inmate chose electric chair over lethal injection because of recent problems w/lethal injection.
The last person to be executed by electric chair without the choice of an alternative method was a woman in 2002 in Alabama.

  5. on the subject of mice, I actually have a funny story that I recalled during the mouse scene where one of the guards is like "it's not normal for a mouse to come up on a person like that", I have a mice issue in my trailer and with the weather getting cold they are seeking shelter – well…I kept seeing evidence of mice, kept seeing something small and dark, darting out of the corner of my eye. One day, i look between my two monitors and sitting there, bold as all get out …is a mouse, on it's hind legs just like…whatching me lol

Oh, wow…I have seen this movie I am not sure how many times. It is one of my favorite movies, and I NEVER connected John Coffey = Jesus Christ (JC)

Another good one (tear jerker as well), but very much, imo, a must watch film for everyone in the world. Not sure if you've seen it yet, it's not on the channel, "Schindler's List"

Thank You for the insightful reaction!

  6. 48:05 I realized a special reason why ā€œhe couldn’t take anymore after thatā€, when John asked to have his cover off his face, you could see Tom Hanks truly crushed and forever changed, that he had to watch John’s face, uncovered.. in that final moment

  7. So happy to see how clearly you picked up on the parallels to The Passion. Realizing this made this movie that much more powerful for me. Definitely one of my Top 3 favorite movies. Great Reaction! šŸ‘šŸ»

  8. Fun fact somewhat relevant: louisiana has different laws than every other state. We have the Napoleanic law instead of the usual English common law.

This means judges have more control over the application of sentencing than others, since they don't necessarily have to follow legal precedent. Our laws give a range of penalty that give the judge a means of selection based on fault, intention, intoxication, premeditation, etc.

  9. Kali, I’ve watched hundreds of reactions. This was the first of yours and it was the most honest, heartfelt reaction I have seen. 😢 gonna have to subscribe and go back and watch some more. Hope you have a happy and blessed Christmas. From Texas.

  10. Of all the Reactions to The Green Mile on YouTube, you are the first I see to get the J. C.connection. And many don`t realize it is based on a book by Stephen King, cos they believe the horror label that has been put on him by the media.

  11. Yeah, horribly sad movie. Michael Clark Duncan (the gigantic guy) was a national treasure and died way too young. He was really good in Independence Day too with Billy, Bob, Thornton, Ben Affleck, liv Tyler, Steve Buscemi, Owen, Wilson, etc. if you wanna watch that. He was also living with Emarosa from the apprentice when he died who quite frankly, I thought he was too good for.

  12. This and the Shawshank Redemption are the best adaptations of stories written by Stephen King. Carrie and Stand By Me are very good, but Shawshank and Green Mile are two of the best movies I have seen.

  13. You can tell what kind of heart someone has by what makes them emotional. You are ALL heart. Seen this movie many times and have seen many reactions to it and this is one of the few times someone's reaction has me literally tearing up. Loved this.
