I'm supposed to believe some incompetent bird alien who can barely manage inanimate objects is supposed to be some immortal being it's no wonder they lost, competency is more important in space.
OH MY GOD! That ending had me laughing my ass off! His favorite stick? Damned Irish and their freaking shillelagh! And when the queen surrendered, all he wanted was a damned bath! And now the low caste janitor hen who treated the captive human with civility is the new queen. This story was absolutely hilarious, but, also somehow fitting. The arrogant battle fleet that assaulted pleasure cruisers for sport is now under the command of a human and an avian who did not see any glory in pursuing pleasure craft. It's getting hard to keep up with the different story lines that are popping up on Starbound, but this one deserves some sort of sequel just so we can find out what kind of changes the janitor makes.👍👍👍👍
If some Alien chicken told me, I could avoid being sold into Slavery. It would be like this, "Slavery, I AM HUMAN, WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN, SLAVERY IS IMMORAL AND EVIL, THERE WILL BE NOTHING LEFT" lol

Human glazing is the best type of alien stories
This story caught my attention immediately and refused to let go until the end. No small part of that is due to the narrator's voice. The man has some skills for sure!!!!
I ignored everything else and couldn't do anything other than listen. Whoever wrote this story knows their stuff. More from this author please. It doesn't have to be this storyline, although I absolutely wouldn't object. I'm more than happy with more of their very obvious creative genius, wherever that takes them.
